Study On The Construction And Preference Of Recreational Lawn Space

As a basic component of the urban green space system,the lawn green space plays a significant impact in the urban ecological environment and urban landscape.It is an urgent problem in landscape design industry to pay attention to human needs,integrate them into the design and create a beautiful and comfortable lawn space.Environmental psychology can combine the psychological needs and behavioral needs of the turf space users(security,belonging,privacy and publicity)with the space creation and plant collocation of the lawn.Modern lawn industry in China started relatively late,and the research direction mostly focused on the physiological characteristics of the lawn.The research on lawn landscape mainly focused on the plane space form of lawn landscape and the vertical composition of trees,shrubs and grasses.There is less literature on the exploration of the lawn.From the perspective of humanistic care,This paper chooses people who can directly participate in the interactive recreational lawn space for research.Through theoretical and practical research,it is concluded that recreational lawn space construction focuses on elements and spatial preferences.The research contents and results include:1.The excellent cases of recreational lawn space construction at home and abroad are analyzed.In the design of introverted small space,other garden elements such as terrain,water body,sculpture and characteristic vegetation are needed to increase space richness.In order to expand the perceptual area of space,the entrance of space,the boundary of lawn and the tour route can be set ingeniously.When planning mixed space,we should pay attention to the interrelation and natural transition between multiple spaces.Each space should be designed with its own characteristics and clear subordinates.2.Through the case study in the first part,it is concluded that the main elements of recreational lawn space are terrain and plants.Flat terrain with stable,open borrowing surface,but at the same time easy to form a sense of security,no visual focus of the negative space.Reasonable plant design can increase the interest of the space.The undulating terrain is formed by the combination of the convex topography and the concave topography,which has the effect of enriching the spatial layers and increasing the interest of the space.3.Combining environmental psychology with the study of recreational turf spatial preferences.The crowd has a higher recognition of the value of the lawn green space,and the population's preference for the four types of lawn is from high to low: under the forest > sparse forest lawn > sloping lawn > open lawn.Spatial vegetation richness,spatial repressive value,spatial environment richness,spatial security and spatial scale all have a positive impact on turf spatial preferences.Among them,the spatial environment richness and spatial scale have the largest impact factor.In terms of population characteristics,gender and original landscape had no significant effect on preference scores,while differences in age and education were different from turf spatial preferences.People aged 19-30 and over showed lower preference;those aged 41-50 showed higher inclusiveness than those of other age groups;11-18 years olds preferred grassy lawns.As the level of education increases,the quality requirements for the landscape are higher.
