Yupingfeng polysaccharide is a Chinese Herbal Compound which is extract in astragalus,atractylodes and schischk by the method of Boiled alcohol sink.This study was conducted to investigate the effect of Yupingfeng polysaccharide on growth,immunity performance and Toll receptor expression in Litopenaeus vannamei.Exp.1 Effect of Yupingfeng polysaccharide on growth,immunity performance in Litopenaeus vannamei450 healthy white shrimp with similar weight(3.00±0.02g)and physique form were randomly allotted to 5 groups with 3 replicates in each group treatment,and each replicate contained 30 individuals.The group(A)was for control with the basal diet and the remaining four groups(B,C,D and E)were for experiments supplemented with 0.05%,0.10%,0.15% and 0.20% Yupingfeng polysaccharide respectively.The results showed as follows: compared with control group 1)each test groups had no obvious change on growth performance.2)at 14 d,the concentration of T-SOD in serum of group D and E was significant increase(P<0.05),the concentration of MDA of each experimental groups was significant decrease(P<0.05)and the concentration of LZM in serum of each experimental groups was significant increase(P<0.05),but the concentration of PO in serum had no obvious change.In the gill,the expression of Toll-1 gene of group C was significant increase(P<0.05),the expression of Toll-2 gene of group B,C and D was significant increase(P<0.05),the expression of Toll-3 gene of group B and D was significant increase(P<0.05).In the hepatopancreas,the expression of Toll-1 gene of group A was significant decrease(P<0.05),the expression of Toll-2 gene of group B and D was significant decrease(P<0.05),the expression of Toll-3 gene of each experimental groups was significant decrease(P<0.05).3)at 28 d,the concentration of T-SOD in serum of group C was significant increase(P<0.05),the concentration of MDA and LZM in serum of each experimental groups was the same as 14 d,the concentration of PO in serum of group B could significant decrease(P<0.05).In the gill,the expression of Toll-3 gene of group C,D and E can significant increase(P<0.05),but the expression of Toll-1 and Toll-2 gene of each experimental groups had no obvious change.In the hepatopancreas,the expression of Toll-1 gene of group B and E was significant(P<0.05)increase,the expression of Toll-2 gene of group C,D and E was significant(P<0.05)decrease,but the expression of Toll-3 gene of each experimental groups had no obvious change.Exp.2 Effect of feeding modes of Yupingfeng polysaccharide on growth?immunity performance in Litopenaeus vannamei630 healthy white shrimp with similar weight and physique form were randomly allotted to 7 groups with 3 replicates in each group treatment,and each replicate contained 30.The first group(A)was for control with the basal diet,the three groups(B,C and D)were for experiments were continuous-fed with 0.05%,0.10% and 0.15% Yupingfeng polysaccharide and the remaining three groups(B1,C1 and D1)were intermittent fed with 7d basal diet-7d with 0.05%,0.10% and 0.15% Yupingfeng polysaccharide.The results showed as follows: compared with control group 1)each test groups had no obvious change on growth performance.2)at 14 d,the concentration of T-SOD in serum of group B1 and D was significant increase(P<0.05),the concentration of MDA in serum of each experimental groups was significant decrease(P<0.05)and the concentration of LZM in serum of each experimental groups was significant increase(P<0.05),but the concentration of PO in serum of group B1 and D1 was significant decrease(P<0.05).In the gill,the expression of Toll-1 gene of group C and C1 was significant increase(P<0.05),the expression of Toll-2 gene of group B,D and B1 was significant increase(P<0.05)but B1,C1 and D1 had opposite effect,the expression of Toll-3 gene of each experimental groups as significant decrease(P<0.05).In the hepatopancreas,the expression of Toll-1 gene of group B1 was significant decrease(P<0.05)but D1 had opposite effect,the expression of Toll-2 gene of group B and D was significant decrease(P<0.05)but B1,C1 and D1 had opposite effect,the expression of Toll-3 gene of each groups was significant decrease(P<0.05).3)at 28 d,the concentration of T-SOD in serum of group C,B1 and D1 was significant increase(P<0.05),the concentration of MDA in serum of group C,D and D1 was significant decrease(P<0.05),the concentration of LZM in serum of each experimental groups was significant increase(P<0.05),the concentration of PO in serum of group B was significant decrease(P<0.05).In the gill,the expression of Toll-1 and Toll-2 gene of group B1 was significant increase(P<0.05),the expression of Toll-3 gene of group B1 and C1 was significant increase(P<0.05).In the hepatopancreas,the expression of Toll-1 gene of group B was significant increase(P<0.05),the expression of Toll-2 gene of group B,B1 and D1 was significant decrease(P<0.05)but C had opposite effect,the expression of Toll-3 gene of group B1,C1 and D1 was significant decrease(P<0.05).Comprehensive consideration,Yupingfeng polysaccharide can improve the serum immunity and the expression of Toll gene,promote the health of shrimp.It also have trend to improve the growth performance.Consider the economic benefits,intermittent feeding fed with 0.10%,0.15% Yupingfeng polysaccharide can achieve the best effect in Litopenaeus vannamei.
