Crop planting area is an important indicator of agricultural information monitoring.Because of the vast territory and large planting area of crops in China,the traditional methods of obtaining planting scale are time-consuming,labor-consuming and easily influenced by human factors,and the data obtained are quite different from the actual data.They have certain advantages in the investigation,evaluation and monitoring of large-scale open-air crop production.Aiming at the problem that garlic planting scale is not clear at present,taking the main garlic producing area as the research object,the garlic planting area is obtained by remote sensing technology,and the influencing factors of garlic planting area are analyzed according to relevant theories.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on Landsat-8 remote sensing image,taking Jinxiang County of Shandong Province,Qixian County of Henan Province,Pizhou City of Jiangsu Province and Yongnian County of Hebei Province as research objects,training samples were determined by artificial visual interpretation and remote sensing image pixel classification.Maximum likelihood method,minimum distance classification method,Mahalanobis distance classification method and Shen method were used for remote sensing image of the study area in January 2016.Five supervised classification methods,namely network classification and support vector machine classification,are used to interpret and calculate the classification accuracy of the five methods.By comparing and analyzing the classification results of the four images,the overall accuracy of the maximum likelihood method is more than 97%.Therefore,it is most appropriate to select the maximum likelihood method to obtain garlic planting area in the main producing areas in this study.In order to verify the reliability of the extraction results,the accuracy of garlic planting area extraction in main producing areas was about 91% by field sampling and comparison with aerial photographs.This method effectively solves the problem of garlic planting area "unclear background".(2)According to the results of the four main areas of the extraction of garlic planting area from 2016 to 2018 showed obvious trend of planting area.By analyzing the change trend of garlic planting area,the influence degree of economic,policy,investment and farmers' psychological factors on garlic planting area was empirically tested and analyzed through the econometric model.It was concluded that garlic price was the most important factor affecting the change of garlic planting area,the influencing factors such as garlic planting area,garlic planting price and national subsidy policy were analyzed.Based on panel data of Shandong Province from 2007 to 2016,ten influencing factors are analyzed from four aspects of economy,resources,technology and policy,through the analysis of the results,four policy recommendations were proposed for the government.Using remote sensing image to extract garlic planting area can effectively solve the problem of "unclear background" of garlic planting area in China.Obtaining garlic planting area and analyzing the influencing factors of garlic planting area in China are of great significance for clarifying garlic planting structure,formulating garlic production planning,stabilizing garlic prices in China and promoting the healthy and orderly development of garlic industry.
