There are various kinds of spray adjuvants in the market.How to select more suitable spray adjuvants for unmanned aerial vehicle spray?UAVs?is very vital importance to improve the pesticide deposition,reduce environmental pollution and promote the development of pest control by UAVs in China.In this paper,various factors that affecting the performance of adjuvants in the UAVs were investigated by suspension drop method,wind tunnel method and field test with seven different types of adjuvants.An evaluation system of UAVs adjuvants was established according to evaporation resistance,drift resistance,wettability,and pesticide deposition rate.And it was confirmed in the field trial by UAVs.The conclusions are as follows:1.The addition of adjuvants can reduce the surface tension,the contact angle and the number of small droplets,meanwhile,can increase the wetting area and the droplet size.After adding adjuvants,the decrease of the surface tension was positively correlated with the decrease of contact angle and the increase of wetting spreading area.The decrease of surface tension was positively correlated with the increase of DV50 and the decrease of small droplets with the addition of non-ionic surfactants-Break thru vibrant and mineral oils-MAIDAO.However,the decrease of surface tension is negatively correlated with the increase of DV50 and the decrease of small droplets with non-ionic surfactants-Y-20079,organic silicon-GY-S903 and vegetable oils-BEIDATONG.2.The evaporation resistance of 1%the Break thru vibrant non-ionic surfactant is better.The evaporation inhibition rate is 66.67%at 25?and 37.25%at 33?,followed by GY-S903.3.The results show that suspension concentrate is easier to drift than emulsifiable concentrate,and adding appropriate adjuvants can effectively reduce the drift of liquid by wind tunnel test.4.Adding spray adjuvants can increase the effective utilization rate of rice.The effective utilization rate can increase 14.95%by adding 1%Break thru vibrant non-ionic surfactant.
