Development Of Forest Fire Monitoring System Based On Video Analysis

A set of real-time monitoring forest status and alarm of fire monitoring system is developed in this paper,which is combined with the technology of visible light and infrared video fire detection,wireless mobile communication,the android screen sharing and remote control system.By using these techonlogies,unattended continuous work could be realized to analysis and process the video information from video collector automatically and monitor the forest fires from the monitoring area in real time.This system is divided into three parts,including service-based video monitor module,intelligent analysis system based on SMS messages warning module and android remote monitoring module of the screen.With background subtraction,the intelligent analysis system module could detect the visible light and infrared video fire detecting state.SMS alarm module utilizes the SMS messages to alarn,which will be sent to the related users via SMS text messaging platform of information.After receiving the alarm information,the users use the android smart Phone APP client to check video monitoring status and take blazes.Finally,the functions of forest fire monitoring system are tested with video provided by Mentougou forestry protection station in Beijing.The experimental results demonstrate that the system runs well and meets the needs of practical application.
