Effect Of Antibacterial Peptide And Acidifier Combination On Growth Performance Of Weaned Piglets

In recent years,the addition of antibacterial peptides or acidulants in diets during the pig breeding process has achieved certain effects,such as increasing daily gain,shortening the age of the bar,and increasing the feed conversion rate.The weaning stress that occurs in the ternary commercial pigs outside the legal system at the stage after weaning,the slow growth rate,and the problems of diarrhea have always been the difficulties that the enterprises of the breeding system pigs want to overcome.In this study,the antibacterial peptide was used in combination with an acidifying agent,and the effect of adding antibacterial peptide or acidifying agent was compared to explore its effect on the growth performance of weaned piglets.Trial 1:This study aimed to explore the effect of antimicrobial peptides on the growth performance of weaned piglets.Fourteen weaned piglets of 24±1 day old,which were similar in body condition,similar in fetal length and similar in lactation performance,were randomly divided into 4 groups(groups A,B,C,and D).4 litters,10 pigs per litter,did not require significant differences in initial body weight between groups.In the diets of groups A,B,C and D,antibacterial peptides were added(product name:peptide force),antibiotics were added,antibacterial peptides and antibiotics were added at the same time,and no drug was added.The test time was 12 days.The results showed that the effect of adding antibacterial peptide(product name:peptide force)was similar to that after adding antibiotics,but it was significantly better than the control group without any drug,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).It shows that antibacterial peptide(product name:peptide force)has the effect of replacing antibiotics,and has a positive effect on the growth performance of weaned piglets.Trial 2:This study aimed to explore the effect of acidifiers on the growth performance of weaned piglets.Fourteen weaned piglets of 24±1 day old,which were similar in body condition,similar in fetal length and similar in lactation performance,were randomly divided into 4 groups(groups A,B,C,and D).4 litters,10 pigs per litter,the difference in initial body weight between the groups was not significant,and the drug health was carried out according to the routine management of the farm.A,B,C,and D diets were supplemented with 1 kg/ton,2 kg/ton,3 kg/ton,and no added acidifier(product name:fastconic acid)for 14 days.The results showed that the daily weight gain,feed intake and feed-to-meat ratio of group C were better than those of group A,B and D,but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the daily gain was increased by 10.7%,the feed intake was increased by 3.7%,and the ratio was decreased by 13.7%.Only the diarrhea in weaned piglets In addition,the addition of different doses of acidifier can effectively reduce diarrhea,but we did not find a direct linear relationship.In summary,the addition of 3kg/ton of acidifier(product name:takononic acid)has the best effect on the growth performance of weaned piglets.Trial 3:This study aimed to explore the effect of combining antibacterial peptides+acidifiers on weaned piglets.Fourteen weaned piglets of 24±1 day old,which were similar in body condition,similar in fetal length and similar in lactation performance,were randomly divided into 4 groups(groups A,B,C,and D).4 litters,10 pigs per litter,the difference in initial body weight between the groups was not significant.The pigs in this batch did not add any medical care.Antibiotic peptides,acidifiers,antibacterial peptides+acidifiers,and no additives were added to the diets of groups A,B,C and D,respectively.The test time was 14 days.The results showed that the daily weight gain,feed intake,diarrhea rate and feed-to-meat ratio were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the daily gain increased by 30.73%,the feed intake increased by 13.31%,the diarrhea rate decreased by 59.15%,and the ratio decreased by 13.16%.In summary,the combined effect of the antimicrobial peptide+acidifier on the growth performance of the weaned piglets is better than the effect of adding the antimicrobial peptide or acidifier alone.
