Effect Of Different Fertilizers On The Growth Of Kentucky Bluegrass

This study is focus on the effect of different domestic and foreign lawn specialty fertilizer and general compound fertilizer on Kentucky bluegrass,through the combination of pot and field experiments.Specifically discuss the different brand and different levels of fertilizers on soil organic matter,pH values,total nitrogen,available P and K as well as the appearance of turf grass quality,overground biomass,underground biomass and also uptake status of NPK on turf grass leaf tissue.The results showed as below:1.The soil nitrogen,nitrogen,leaf nitrogen test results show that the accumulation of nitrogen in the soil and the leaf texture depends largely on the speed of nitrogen release.In the first time,due to the rapid release nitrogen of compound fertilizer,the nitrogen content is rich in the soil and also in the leaf texture,Potting soil nitrogen content of 0.889g/kg,nitrogen content of 18.18mg/kg,and total nitrogen content in the leaves of 31.483g/kg,but as time goes on,slow-release fertilizer gradually dominate,Soil nitrogen content of 0.629g/kg,and total nitrogen content in the leaves of 21.924g/kg,and bring a better view of good impact to overground biomass,underground biomass,and turf grass total quality value.2.Phosphorus and potassium elements in the soil and turf grass,mainly affected by levels of phosphorus and potassium in different fertilizers,phosphorus and potassium fertilizer treatments,in which all components are available,without sustained release time limit,so the performance is more regular in soil and turf grass.3.The effect of different fertilizer treatments on soil pH value and organic matter is very small,but in the long term,applying fertilizer can help to reduce soil pH,which will help cool season turf grass grow better4."Best","Longer" fertilizers can promote overground biomass more obvious,and "Best","Leili"and "Longer" release fertilizer can have greater positive impact on the underground biomass,Which are worthy of promotion and application.5.The affecting differences between different levels of nitrogen corresponding fertilizer treatments on different indicators were not so significant.6.The fertilizer test result shows that the choice of suitable varieties of fertilizer is critical,the nitrogen content of slow-release fertilizer lawn which brand is "Best",“Lei Li”,“longer”can meet the requirements on label marking and even exceeded,but there is a shortage of phosphorus and potassium content,shortages of compound fertilizer worse still,in which the phosphorus and potassium content of essentially zero,which is seriously affecting the test results.In future,we should detect the content of the test material in advance and select desirable ones.
