Millet is drought-tolerant and poor-tolerant.millet has a high edible and feeding value.Zinc is one of the necessary micro elements for plant growth. It has been reported that foliar application of zinc fertilizer can increase the yield and quality of wheat and rice.To determine its effect on the growth and yield of millet, and to screen out the optimum period and concentration suitable for application in the field. The experiment was determined by the randomized block design. It was based on the Zhangzagu No.10 millet variety as the test material, and the zinc sulfate was used as the spray fertilizer.Five spray concentrations were set,and the leaf spray was carried out at the jointing stage, heading stage and filling stage. The specific experimental research results are as follows:1.According to the morphological indicators,at the jointing stage, after joint spraying, the plant height and leaf area were significantly changed of the 7th and 14 th day.Compared with CK,the increase of plant height and leaf area increased first and then decreased. The plant height reached the maximum at c2,and the leaf area increased the most at the concentration of c1;the stem diameter did not change significantly at different concentrations.Compared with ck,at the jointing stage, the plant height increased in the concentration range of c1-c2,decreased in the concentration range of c2-c4,significantly increased at c2 concentration, and decreased significantly at c4 concentration; The leaf area was the lowest at c1 concentration, and the other concentrations increased first and then decreased compared with ck.The trend was the highest at the concentration of c3;the stem diameter did not change significantly under the treatment of each concentration. There was no significant change in plant height, stem diameter and leaf area after spraying in the filling stage.2.From the photosynthesis parameters,After spraying different concentrations of zinc sulfate in three periods, the effects of chlorophyll content on millet leaves were different. The suitable concentration range could promote photosynthesis and increase other light and parameters except intercellular carbon dioxide concentration. After spraying zinc sulphate at jointing stage and filling stage, the net photosynthetic rate of millet increased in the range of c1-c2 concentration, and decreased in the concentration range of c2-c4.The net photosynthetic rate after spraying different concentrations of zinc sulfate at the heading stage was The concentration of c1-c3 increased, and decreased within the concentration range of c3-c4,reaching themaximum at the concentrations of c2,c3,and c2,respectively,and the inhibition at c4.After spraying zinc fertilizer in three periods, the maximum value was reached at the concentrations of c2,c3 and c2,respectively,and the inhibition was observed at c4.Compared with ck,the photosynthesis parameters of millet increased after spraying proper amount of zinc sulfate, indicating that spraying zinc sulfate can regulate the stomatal opening and closing of millet leaves, promote CO2 exchange, enhances CO2 assimilation and promotes carbohydrate accumulation and transportation.3.From the perspective of yield and yield,After spraying zinc sulphate at jointing stage, the yield components of millet gradually increased with the increase of spray concentration.they all reached the maximum in c4 concentration.the 1000-grain weight and yield gradually increased, also show the same trend with the increase of concentration. The spike length, ear diameter and code number of millet increase with the increase of spraying concentration after spraying zinc sulfate at the heading stage. There is a promoting effect, but the ear weight and ear weight of millet are inhibited at the highest concentration,1000-grain weight and yield are maximized at c3 concentration,.After spraying zinc sulphate in the filling stage, the yield components of millet increased in the range of c1-c3 concentration, and decreased in the range of c3-c4 concentration, which reached the maximum at the concentration of c3.The 1000-grain weight and yield also increased in the concentration range of c1-c3,decreased in the concentration range of c3-c4,and the maximum yield in c3,and the difference between ck and ck was not significant, and inhibition occurred at c4.4.From the zinc content in millet grains, the zinc content in millet grains was different after spraying different concentrations of zinc sulfate in different periods. The zinc content in the grain increased with the increase of spraying concentration at the heading stage, and the zinc content reached the maximum at the c3 concentration, which was increased 12.3% compared with ck.At the filling stage,The zinc content in the grain after spraying the zinc fertilizer on the foliar surface increased with the increase of spraying concentration. It reached the highest at the c4 concentration, which increased 29% compared with the ck. |
