Drought is one of the important abiotic stresses affecting the sustainable development of agriculture.Therefore,breeding of drought-tolerant varieties is an important measure to deal with drought.Sorghum is an important source of food and the main raw material for the brewing industry.Sorghum has the characteristics of drought tolerance,salt tolerance,salt and alkali resistance,and has an important position in arid agricultural areas.However,the drought resistance of different varieties of sorghum is quite different,so it is particularly important to screen drought-tolerant materials efficiently,economically and accurately.In this paper,drought-resistant and sensitive materials were screened in different sorghum materials during the germination and seedling drought tests,and the drought resistance differences of these varieties under different growth environments(field and indoor tests)and different analytical methods were observed.Subordinate function method,principal component analysis method,cluster analysis method)The accuracy of drought resistance evaluation of different sorghum materials.Thereby accurately identifying materials with outstanding drought resistance.The main experimental results are as follows: 1.In this paper,73 sorghum varieties were used as the starting materials,PEG was used to simulate drought,and the relative germination potential,relative germination rate,germination drought index and seedling wilting index of the germination stage were used to carry out drought resistance at different sorghum varieties.Identification,and by comparison,5 varieties of drought-tolerant germination and seedling stage were obtained,6 varieties were sensitive in germination and seedling stage,and 10 varieties were drought-resistant in seedling stage.2.Drought-tolerant and sensitive varieties that were initially screened from indoor germination and seedling stages,using field phenotypic analysis methods for plant height,leaf length and leaf width morphological characteristics,and superoxide dismutase(SOD),C Multiple analysis of phenotypes such as aldehyde(MDA)and peroxidase(POD)content,and finally one accession was identified as high drought resistant,one accession was moderate drought resistant,two accessions drought-sensitive.3.This study combines field test and laboratory test,morphological characteristics and physiological and biochemical data,and comprehensively uses a variety of data analysis methods(subordinate function method,principal component analysis method,clustering analysis method)to establish a preliminary a new method for high-efficiency and accurate evaluation of drought resistance of sorghum varieties aims to obtain the drought resistance information of sorghum varieties quickly,efficiently and accurately,and lay a foundation for This study was supported by the Fundamental Research Funds for Central Non-profit Scientific Institution(Y2017PT25)and the National Natural Science Foundation of China(31471558).the research of sorghum drought resistance mechanism and breeding of new drought-resistant varieties. |
