In this study,20 new watermelon combinations were comprehensively analyzed and evaluated under protected cultivation conditions in order to screen out new watermelon varieties with high quality and popularization value.The results are as follows:(1)The results of individual index analysis showed that 16w44 of the tested materials had the largest single melon weight,reaching 3.01 kg,and 16W02 had the smallest single melon weight,reaching 1.44 kg.The minimum thickness of peel was 16w50,and the largest thickness of peel was 16w22.The highest water content of pulp was 16w50,and the lowest water content was 16w31.The highest vitamin C content was 16w38,with a minimum of 16w26.The highest sugar content in the fruit pulp center of the tested watermelon varieties was 16W27,with a sugar content of 10.75%.The highest sugar content was 16w06 on the edge of the pulp,and 9.08% on the edge of the pulp.Nine varieties,16W02,16w06,16w07,16w11,16w18,16W27,16w31,16w37 and 16w48,had the best disease resistance.(2)According to the weighted scores of each trait,the comprehensive analysis of vitamin C content,fruit sugar content,fruit water content,disease resistance and other indicators showed that the comprehensive scores of watermelon combinations 16w06?16w28 and16w38 were higher than those of the control,therefore,these three varieties had further utilization value.
