Tripterygium wilfordii Wilfordii has a wide range of uses, the market demand for Tripterygium wilfordii Wilfordii Wilfordii Wilfordii is also increasing, the development prospects are bright. However, the excessive exploitation of wild Tripterygium wilfordii has led to a sharp decrease in reserves and a growing shortage of resources. In order to improve the social and economic benefits brought by Tripterygium wilfordii, artificial cultivation must be popularized in an all-round way.In this paper, the distribution of wild Tripterygium wilfordii resources, atmospheric, elevation, soil and vegetation conditions in Taining were investigated to provide technical support for Tripterygium wilfordii cutting seedlings to find suitable habitats. The effects of different provenances, substrates, time, roughness, root and branch age on Tripterygium wilfordii growth were studied.Through the above investigation and experimental study, the aim is to determine the suitable growth conditions for Tripterygium wilfordii cutting seedlings,to find the best standards of Tripterygium wilfordii growth provenance, cutting medium, cutting time, cutting thickness, different parts and branch age,and to promote the rapid propagation of Tripterygium wilfordii cutting technology system as soon as possible. The research results of this paper can be summarized as follows:seven points:1.Through investigating and analyzing the growing environment of wild Tripterygium Wilfordii in Taining County,Fujian Province,it is found that the distribution of Tripterygium wilfordii has its own ecological adaptability, which determines the limitation of its natural distribution. When cultivated artificially,it needs suitable woodland, appropriate light, not in a cool environment, the soil needs deep soil layer. It has good permeability and rich organic matter.2.Experiments show that the survival rate, rooting number, tiller number and seedling height of local Tripterygium wilfordii provenances are significantly different from those of other provenances, and they are superior to other provenances. In artificial cultivation, according to the ecological adaptability of Tripterygium wilfordii, local provenances should be preferentially selected.3.The difference between the survival rate of loam and other substrates is significant. The survival rate of loam substrates is the highest.Loam is the most suitable for Tripterygium wilfordii cuttage production, and considering the cost, loam is the most economical and applicable cuttage substrates.4.The survival rate of Tripterygium wilfordii cuttings was low because of the high temperature in summer and autumn. Therefore, the cuttings should be conducted in March or December.5.The survival rate of cuttings with 0.6-0.8 cm thickness is significantly higher than that of other roughness. From the survival rate, the roughness of cuttings is the best cuttage fitness in 0.6-0.8cm.6.The optimum part of cutting propagation is roots.Root cutting seedlings generally have more branches and grow better than branch cutting seedlings.Root cutting should be carried out as far as possible in places where conditions permit, and semi-lignified branches of the same year should be selected for cutting propagation in production.7.The effect of different factors on cutting seedling of Tripterygium wilfordii was comprehensively evaluated by principal component method and membership function method. The results of comprehensive evaluation of the effect of each factor were as follows:different cutting type>substrate>thickness>cutting time>provenance.
