Millimeter wave communication satellite remote sensing in 5G missile guidance,electronic countermeasures,and other fields has been widely used in recent years,with the improving of the level of components,circuit design antenna technology and related technology development and the increasingly matures,millimeter wave radar in the application of automatic driving also obtained great development with ultrasonic is often compared with radar,millimeter wave radar has the characteristics of small size light weight and high spatial resolution compared with infrared laser cameras optical sensor,millimeter wave radar to penetrate fog smoke dust of ability,has the characteristics of the24-hour day.This paper focuses on the fishing boat's perception of the automatic driving technology based on millimeter wave radar were studied,and based on the current shortage of millimeter wave radar resolution can't form the high quality of the problem of point cloud data,this paper proposes a millimeter wave radar with MIMO technology design method of high resolution and we use the four working frequency in 77 GHZ-81 GHZ FMCW millimeter wave radar chip,designed a specific 12 TX antenna,16 RX antenna cascade of millimeter wave radar antenna of four chip circuit board.The HFSS simulation is carried out on a single antenna,according to the design of the antenna parameters simulation results S11 will fall in 78 GHZ,77 GHZ-81 GHZ frequency band in basically meet the design requirements of-10 dB last using the technology of MIMO antenna configuration design,the number of millimeter wave radar antenna can be equivalent to horizontal 88 virtual four virtual receiving antenna receiving antenna and the vertical direction,so as to azimuth resolution of 1.4 degrees and elevation resolution of 30 degrees.
