Effects Of Different Doses Of Melatonin On Pregnancy And Lambing Of Dolang Sheep

Melatonin,as a powerful antioxidant,is often used in the development of embryos in vitro.The study of direct injection or implantation of melatonin into animal body is in its infancy.Now in chickens,geese and other poultry,as well as the direct injection or implantation of cattle,and ultimately have a positive effect on the reproductive performance of its results.Duolang sheep as the experimental object,the sheep were randomly divided into three groups and estrus,CIDR removed after 36 hours of the three groups were tested sheep subcutaneous injections of 0ml,1ml(5mg),2ml(10mg)with different doses of melatonin.According to the needs of the test,withdrawal time,withdrawal time,36 hours after withdrawal,48 hours after withdrawal and 20 days after mating were collected at four different time periods,XH6080 radioimmunoassay instrument on serum melatonin and other hormone levels were detected by radioimmunoassay,compare the change trend of the three groups.Forty-fifth days after insemination by ultrasound monitoring technology for detection of pregnancy test sheep,the sheep lambing on 10-15 April 2017.The final statistics of pregnancy rate and lambing in these three groups were compared.The test results are as follows:(1)The test group 1 and test group 2 was withdrawn from the bolt until mating,changes in blood melatonin showed steady upward trend,in twentieth days after mating showed decreased significantly from the control group;but when bolt to bolt buried 36 hours after the withdrawal,change in blood melatonin showed a trend of decline in mating is the significant rise in twentieth days after mating also showed some rise,and significantly higher than the injection of melatonin in test group 1 and test group 2;while the test group 1 and test group 2 and test group 1 only melatonin in the blood in the breeding of content is higher than the test 2 group,while the other time in experimental group was less than 1 Experiment 2 groups,but did not show significant differences(2)Test group 1,the conception rate was 75.00%,the test group 2 was 65.00%,58.82% in the control group.It can be seen that the test group 1(1 ml(5 mg)injection of melatonin)the pregnancy rate was significantly higher than that of the other two groups(P < 0.05);and the differences between the 2 experimental group and the control group are not significant.The test group 1 lambing rate was 86.67%,the test group 2 was 92.31%,90% in the control group.The test results show that the difference between the three groups was not significant(P > 0.05),indicating the insemination 12 hours before the injection of 1 mg,2 mg melatonin for Duolang sheep lambing rate had no effect.To sum up,melatonin injection thirty-sixth hours after withdrawal can increase the levels of hormones and melatonin in the blood.The optimal dosage of melatonin for 1ml can make the blood levels of melatonin increased continuously,significantly improve the pregnancy rate.
