Objective: By studying the effects of drought stress and salt stress on the composition and accumulation of Radix Scutellariae, this paper provides a new idea for the production and planting of high quality Scutellaria baicalensis, and provides a theoretical basis for improving the quality of Scutellaria and utilization of resources. Methods:The effects of Scutellaria baicalensis on the drought stress and salt stress response mechanism of Scutellaria were studied by studying the morphological changes, changes of physiological and biochemical indexes, changes of Huang Tong class components and the influence of drought and salt stress on the fingerprint of Radix Scutellariae in the condition of drought stress and salt stress. The content of 4 flavonoids was measured by HPLC.The content of soluble protein,SOD enzyme activity,POD enzyme activity,CAT enzyme activity and MDA content were detected by the enzyme labeling instrument. The content of proline, chlorophyll a,B and carotenoid were detected by ultraviolet spectrophotometer. The fingerprint of Radix Scutellariae under different stress strips was studied by HPLC method.Results:1.the growth of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi under drought and salt stress is inhibited. With the aggravation of drought stress and salt stress, the growth inhibition of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi increased gradually.2.by studying the physiological adaptation response of Scutellaria baicalensis to drought and salt stress,it was found that the content of soluble protein,SOD,POD,CAT content of antioxidant enzyme defense system, the content of proline and the content of chlorophyll and carotenoid in the leaves of Scutellaria baicalensis under drought and salt stress were changed to adapt to the drought and salt stress environment, and it was a good selection for drought resistant and salt tolerant varieties of Scutellaria. It provides reference.3.under the conditions of adversity, the secondary metabolites of the four flavonoids in the root of the Scutellaria baicalensis had significantly changed with the antioxidant enzyme system to protect the plant from drought and high salt stress.4.by studying the influence of drought and salt stress on the fingerprints of Scutellaria baicalensis, the results showed that the similarity of drought stress and unstressed Radix Scutellariae gradually decreased with the prolongation of drought time. With the increase of salt concentration, the similarity between salt stress and control group Scutellaria was gradually reduced, indicating that the degree of chemical composition in Scutellaria was increased with the intensification of stress. Conclusions:The results of the changes in the chemical composition and physiological and biochemical indexes of Scutellaria baicalensis under drought stress and salt stress,as well as the influence of drought stress and salt stress on the fingerprint of Radix Scutellariae were obtained, which could provide reference for the planting and production of Scutellaria.
