Investigation And Analysis On The Reproduction Performance In A Swine Breeding Herd In Hunan

China is the biggest country in the cultivation field,the amount of pig on hand,slaughter as well as pork outputs are rank the 1^st in the world.Breeding is the core part of pig production,and the quality of breeding has direct influence on the economic benefits.Utilizing the reproductive performance of sows sufficiently is a crucial solution to raise the pig production and economic benefits.The reproductive performance of the sow determines the production efficiency of the pig farm,and the reproductive performance of the sows herd is determined by the total number of litters,the total number of live births,the weight of piglets,weaning weight of piglets,the survival rate of weaning piglets,the number of sows,the number of weanling piglets?PSY?and so on.In order to investigate the reproductive performance of a pig farm in Hunan Province,We collected the 2016-2018 year production date of the pig farm and used Excel and SPSS to analyze the data comprehensively.We evaluated the pig farm production performance by comparing with the international advanced pig farm as well as reference to relevant information and explored the effect of the month on the performance of the sows herd.The main results obtained in this research were as follows.?1?We collected the pig farm's production data of 2296 pig litters in 2016-2018.The average litter size,number of piglets born alive,weight,the number of piglets weaned,weaning survival rate,annual births,PSY were 12.55±0.07?Mean±SEM?,12.00±0.07,1.36±0.01?kg?,92.05?%?±0.61?%?,2.37±0.02,24.29.The total parturition rate from 2016 to2018 was 86.91%.Through the comparison of domestic and foreign pig production performance,we concluded the average litter size,number of piglets born alive,weight,annual birth have reached a high level;parturition rate,the survival rate of weaning piglets and PSY are still has some space to improve.?2?The Classical Swine Fever Virus?CSFV?,the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus?PRRSV?and the Porcine Circovirus type II?PCV-2?produced a high level of antibody in the pig farms.The results of PCR results showed that the results of Classical Swine Fever Virus,Porcine Pseudorabies Virus and Porcine Circovirus II type were negative,and the results of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus detection were positive.?3?By comparing the delivery rates from July 2016 to April 2018,we can conclude that the low birth rates are concentrated in April,November and December.The sow born in April was usually breeding in January or December,while the sows delivered in November and December were usually breeding in July and August.It can be infered that the month has a certain effect on the delivery rate of sows.?4?To further improve the breeding performance of the pig farm,we should do a good job in the purification of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome.At the same time,the daily feeding and management should also be done for summer sows in summer,heat preservation in winter,environmental hygiene in piggery and warm work in piglets.
