Study On The Influencing Factors Of Veterinary Drug Using Behavior By Broiler Breeders In Northern Liaoning

China is the world's second largest consuming and producing broiler.However,due to trade barriers and quality and safety reasons,the international competitiveness of chicken in China is very weak.The number of exports is much lower than that of the United States,Brazil,and other exporting countries.This is a growing trend.Consumption and production are seriously out of balance.In recent years,the frequent incidents of quality and safety issues such as avian influenza and fast-acting chickens have seriously affected the healthy development of the broiler industry and the improvement of the international competitiveness of animal husbandry in China.The residue of veterinary drugs caused by non-standard use of veterinary drugs is the most important and most urgent problem to be solved in the quality and safety of chicken products.As the primary provider and key responsible person of broiler chicken products,the farmers determine whether the safety of broiler foods is safe or not.In order to regulate the use of veterinary drugs by broiler breeders and ensure the quality and safety of chicken meat at the source,this study constructed the effects of veterinary drugs on broiler breeders by combing relevant theories of planning behavior theory,peasant household behavior theory,government regulation theory,and existing literature.The theoretical framework of the behavior;taking 355 broiler breeders in Liaoning Province of Liaoning Province as the survey object to understand the status of veterinary drug use behavior,and found that farmers still have drug abuse,excessive drug use,and failure to observe the drug withdrawal period during actual operations.Safe veterinary drug use behavior;Probit regression model was used to empirically analyze the influencing factors of veterinary drug use behavior of broiler breeders;on this basis,it was learned that broiler breeders had the greatest impact on the use of veterinary drugs in the safe use of veterinary drugs.Simple OLS regression was used to analyze the factors influencing the cognitive level of veterinary drugs used safely by broilers.The study found that the safety of veterinary drug use behaviour of broiler breeders was recognized by their laws and regulations on the use of veterinary drugs,the awareness of the safe use of veterinary drugs,the awareness of hazards of veterinary drug residues,the level of education on veterinary drug residues,the age and scale of breeding,training,sales methods,and income from chicken raising The proportion of total household income is positive,but the awareness of safe use of veterinary drugs by broiler breeders is positively affected by their level of education,information acquisition ability,and government propaganda and education for safe use of veterinary drugs.The farmers have relatively low awareness of the safe use of veterinary drugs.On the basis of the research conclusions,relevant suggestions on regulating the use behavior of veterinary drugs in broiler breeders,improving the safety of the use of veterinary drugs,promoting the quality and safety of chicken food,and the healthy development of broiler husbandry were proposed from the perspective of government,enterprises,and farmers.
