Investigation And Risk Assessment Of Forest Pests From Longmen County And Wujiang District

Taking Longmen County of Huizhou,Wujiang District of Shaoguan these two regions in Guangdong as an example,the regional forest,protection forest,timber forest,economic forest,green trees,wood and its products production and business premises and others to investigate,we can clear and definite the species,distribution and harm situation of forestry pest in these two regions(Longmen County,Wujiang District)in Guangdong Province.Through systematic investigation and statistics analysis,this study found and identified 167 kind of forest pests in Longmen County,including 158 kinds of insect pests(7 orders,58 families,134 genera and 158 species),5 kinds of diseases and 4 kinds of harmful plants.There are 133 kind of forest pests in Wujiang District,including 124 kinds of insect pests(7 orders,50 families,108 genera and 124 species),6 kinds of diseases and 3 kinds of harmful plants.Based on the survey of species,and the species and hazard types of forest pests and the trend of occurrence of forest pests and diseases in two areas was analyzed,the degree of damage and regional distribution of major forest pests in different regions was defined,The results showed that the forest pests in Longmen County and Wujiang District were mainly Lepidoptera and Coleoptera,followed by Hemiptera.The types of damage are dominated by leaf pests,but the types and quantities of trunk pests are on the rise.In the actual investigation,it was found that the occurrence and damage of Heterbostychus aequalis,Hemiberlesia pitysophila,Mikania micrantha in Longmen County and Bursaphelenchuh xylophilus,Dendrolimus punctatus and red fire ants in Wujiang District were more serious,this paper did risk analysis for this six forestry pests,the results showed the risk index of Heterbostychus aequalis for R=2.21 and was assessed high risk forest pests in Longmen County;The risk index of Hemiberlesia pitysophila for R=2.20 and was assessed high risk forest pests in Longmen County;The risk index of Mikania micrantha for R=2.44 was assessed high risk forest pests in Longmen County;and the risk index of Bursaphelenchus xylophilus was R=2.02,which was high risk forest pest in Wujiang,and the risk index of Dendrolimus punctatus for R=1.72,in Wujiang was moderate risk forest pests.The risk index of red fire ants was R = 2.17,in Wujiang was high risk pests.The results showed that the forest pests in Longmen County and Wujiang District were mainly Lepidoptera and Coleoptera,followed by Hemiptera.The types of hazards are dominated by leaf pests,but the types and quantities of trunk pests are on the rise.According to the survey results,this study analyzes the characteristics,causes and potential risks of forestry pests in Longmen County and Wujiang District,and puts forward the prevention and control strategies from the macroscopic point of view.the occurrence characteristics of forestry pests in Longmen County:(1)the degree of occurrence of frequent forestry pests is reduced;(2)the invasive situation of exotic pests is exacerbated,and the types of harmful species are increased;Reasons for the occurrence:(1)low ecological function level,resistance to pest infestation is weak,conducive to the pest infestation and spread;(2)a single forest species,resulting in peculiar pests such as fir shoots small moth,eucalyptus moth and so on a large number of Reproduction and occurrence;(3)increased incidence of climate warming,severe weather conditions,pest occurrence and harm.The occurrence characteristics of forest pests in Wujiang District:(1)sudden,new major foreign forest pests occur more;(2)The risk of cadres pests increased.Reason for occurrence:(1)Rapid development of forest products,frequent human activities,increased risk of invasion,spread and spread of pests;(2)long-term use of chemical control,pest resistance increased,while the amount of natural enemies decreased,the loss of natural enemies control;(3)borer pests difficult to prevent,control area is limited.
