| This paper focused on Camellia sinensis in Luokeng Shinisaurus crocodilurus National Nature Reserve in Guangdong Province.Based on the field work, the current situation of C.Sinensis resource in Luokeng were studied systematically on leaf nutrition, soil nutrients, the correlation between the above two, community species composition, geographical composition and species diversity. The aims of this study were to provide scientific basis for the conservation and utilization of the resource. The results of study were as follows:1.248 wild tea plants at 29 sites of Luokeng were recorded during this investigation, while Liuzikeng and Hongkeng had more plants. The DBH of 118 tea plants reached ten cm,among which Hongkeng had the largest number;but the DBH of only three plants reac hed 20 cm,and the maximum DBH was 28.2 cm.The height of 21 plants reached seven meters, and the maximum height was nine meters. In addition,34 tea plants were cut, whose average height was less than five meters.2.There were 134 species of vascular pla nts, belonging to 94 genera and 56 families in the community where C.Sinensis grows in Luokeng, among which there were 17 species of fern plants, belonging to 14 genera and 10 families;117 species of angiosperm, belonging to 80 genera and 45 families(of all the angiosperm, there were ten species of monocotyledon, belonging to seven genera and four families;107 species of dicotyledon, belonging to 73 genera and 41 families). There were 26 small families, accounting as the majority for 46.43% of total families;24 single-species families, accounting for 42.86% of the total, the species contained accounting for only 17.91% of total species;only one large family, accounting for just 1.78% of the total, but the species contained accounting for 10.45% of the total. There were 69 single-species genera, accounting as the majority for 72.63% of total genera;only one multiple-species genus, accounting for 1.05% of the total.3.All the families of the plants in the community could be divided into eight distribution types, among which there were 21 families belonging to Pantropic, accounting for the majority at 46.67% of the total;nine families belonging to Widespread, accounting for the second at 20% of the total. The geography components of families were mainly pantropical elements, some of the rest were temperatural elements, which reflected transitional in this district. The genera of plants in the community could be divided into 12 distribution types, among which there were 28 genera belonging to Pantropic, accounting for the majority at 35% of the total;17 genera belonging to Tropical Asia, accounting for the second at 21.25% of the total. The geography components of genera were also mainly pantropical elements,in the rest of which there were tropical Asian and O ld world tropical elements, with a certain amount of temperatural elements as well.Overall, there were consistency between the composition of plants and climatic conditions in the district.4.There were 42 species of trees(DBH≥five cm)in the community where Camellia sinensis were in Luokeng, among which plants of Lauraceae occupied the majority. In the importance order,Camellia sinensis,Styrax odoratissimus and Machilus leptophylla occupied the top five, among which there were three species belonging to Lauraceae, reflecting its dominant family status. There were 64 species of shrubs in the community, among which plants of Lauraceae occupied the majority. In the importance order,Rhododendron kwangtungense,Helicia reticulata and Blastus apricus occupied the top six.The species diversity indexes of the five sampling spots indicated that: the sampling spot with the lowest altitude had the highest Simpson index but lowest Shannon-wiener and Pielou indexes;the spot with the highest altitude had rather higher Pielou index and the highest Shannon-wiener index but the lowest Simpson index. On the whole, the spot with higher altitude might have rather higher Shannon-wiener index but rather lower Simpson index.5.The leaf samples of C.Sinensis with the lowest contents of total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, total iron and total manganese were collected at Hongkeng, while the samples with the lowest contents of magnesium, copper and zinc were collected at Huajiaoyan Two.There were 85.19% leaf samples whose contents of total nitrogen were more than 20 g/kg,70.37% samples whose contents of total calcium were more than five g/kg,55.56% samples whose contents of total magnesium were more than one g/kg,100% samples whose contents of total copper were more than five mg/kg,92.59% samples whose contents of total zinc were more than ten mg/kg,70.37% samples whose contents of total zinc were more than 50 mg/kg.The contents of the leaf elements above were all in the middle intensity. The soil samples of Camellia sinensis in Luokeng were extremely acidic for their p H value were lower than the appropriate(4.0~5.5),which were rich of organic matter, total nitrogen and available nitrogen.Their average contents of total phosphorus reached the fourth class standard, but there were 16% fifth class samples,so the soil was lack of phosphorus.Their average contents of available phosphorus reached the second class standard, but there were 56% samples whose contents were lower t han the second class standard.Their average contents of available potassium reached the third class standard, but there were 40% samples whose contents were lower than 100 g/kg.The average contents of exchangeable calcium were in the normal range. The co ntents of exchangeable magnesium and aluminum, available zinc and iron were abundant, but available copper and manganese were poor. The contents of elements above were in the middle intensity except pH and available manganese which were in the weak and strong mutation.6.The total copper contents of leaf samples were significant positive correlated with exchangeable aluminum contents of soil samples, the same correlation was between the total manganese contents of leaf samples and the available manganese contents of soil samples, which responded to their intimate connection. The average value of absorption coefficient of leaf samples for manganese was the highest, which responded to the strongest accumulation ability. In contrast, the average value of absorption coefficient of leaf samples for total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium and iron were lower, which responded to the weaker accumulation ability. |
