Seed inventory and safety in summer is the difficulty of Seed Enterprises. In order to reduce the stock risk of the seed enterprises and make the seeds safety in summer, three kinds of Hybrid Rice Varieties with different cleavage levels were used as the research materials, and three different storage conditions(cave, cold storage and room temperature)were set up.The germination potential, germination rate and germination index of rice varieties under different storage conditions were measured respectively. The effects of different storage conditions on the germination characteristics of glume-gaping grain, whole grain and mixed grain seed were analyzed, and the effects of different storage conditions on the germination characteristics and physiological specificity of rice seeds were analyzed. The results of the study had certain reference function on the control of seed quality and seed production and selection in seed enterprises. The test results as follows:1.Under the condition of suitable seed storage cavern. In depot storage conditions, three varieties of seed indicators are close to the value before storage, and the variation range is 0-2%,which tends to be receivable. The germination potential and germination rate of seeds were both declined whether stored at cold storage or normal temperature. The germination rate decreased by 4%-10% especially at room temperature. The difference of seed germination potential, germination percentage and germination index tend to be significant under three storage conditions.2.POD activity,SOD activity and amylase activity were significantly different under three storage conditions. After a period of storage, under the environment of cave and cold storage, the change of enzyme activity of seeds was indistinctive, and the difference between the group was small. After storage for a period of time in room temperature, the activity index of enzyme decreased significantly. The POD activity,SOD activity and the decrease of amylase activity reached 12-44%,21-48% and 22-56%,respectively.The difference was very significant, which indicating the enzyme activity affected mostly at room temperature.3.In the three different varieties, the indexes of germination(germination potential, germination rate, germination index)and physiological special indexes(POD activity,SOD activity and amylase activity)of the seeds in different storage conditions showed the same change level, which decreased mostly in the storage of room temperature, the cold storage was the second, and the decreased least in the cave.4.The higher the glume-gaping rate, the more difficult to store.Three varieties of different glume-gaping grain(2%,6%,9%)with different storage conditions were set to be three groups. The change of germination index and physiological special indexes of varieties with high glume-gaping rate tend to be lower than the low glume-gaping rate. The result showed that the quality of the varieties with high glume-gaping rate was higher after storage. The effect of different storage conditions on the glume-gaping grain was very significant in the analysis of the whole grain and the glume-gaping.5.Changing the external storage environment and the ratio of glume-gaping grain can reduce the quality change of seeds during storage. It is feasible to reduce the risk of inventory by selecting cave or suitable and steady condition of cold storage and devoting greater effort to get rid of the glume-gaping grain.
