According to accessing and analyzing to a large number of hare feeding and management aspects of the relevant information,and conducting a lot of research on the hare feeding farms in China,soliciting and comprehensive expert opinion,summing up the domestic and foreign relevant research data,for the current problems in China’s hare breeding industry,according to the existing requirements of the hare breeding industry in China,under the guide of Directives for Standization Part 1,2009Rules for the structure and drafting of standards,and drafted the recommended industry standard "The Technical Regulations for the Breeding and Management of Lepus".The main contents of this standard are as follows:1.The standard limited the definitions of terms such as hares,puppies,bred hares,breeding hares,and artificial feeding platforms.2.In this standard,the construction of hare farm was standardized from two aspects:the site selection of hare farm and the production mode of hares.3.The feed intake and forage health standard of hares were standardized,and the hares common feed such as green feed,crude feed and concentrate feed were listed,and the recommended formula of concentrate was given for the different physiological periods of hares.4.This article regulated feeding and management opration for the hares in breeding period,finishing period,adult period and hare commercial hares.5.The hygiene and epidemic prevention situation of hare farms was strictly enacted from aspects of hygiene,disinfection,pharmacological prevention,quarantine,isolation,routine immunization and blockade.6.The archival management of hare farm was mainly regulated from the aspects of hare archival material collection,feeding individual file,transferring individual file and death individual file and so on.The article also gave scientific and reasonable guiding opinions on the existing problems in the breeding industry of hare in China,including promoting the intensive livestock farming of the hare breeding,attaching importance to science and technology,standardizing the feed standard,actively guiding and expanding the consumption market,so as to promote the scale of the breeding industry of hares in our country,improve the overall economic benefit of hare breeding in China.
