Strawberry is a high-value berry crop.At present,China has the largest strawberry cultivation area and highest yields in the world.There are no effective methods for preventing and controlling strawberry virus disease in China,and the occurrence of strawberry virus diseases seriously affect strawberry industry in China.Strawberries grow widely in Fujian province,but there is no full information on the types,geographical distribution and incidence of strawberry virus diseases,we have selected 4 strawberry virus(SMoV,SMYEV,SVBV and SCV)that have widely distributed and seriously affected in our country,as well as the five viruses that have not been reported in China(SPaV,SCrV-3,SCrV-4,BPYV and SPV1).RT-PCR and NGS technology are used to detect the occurrence of strawberry viruses in Fujian province,The results showed that there were 6 strawberry viruses,including SMoV,SMYEV,SVBV,SPaV,SCrV-3 and SCrV-4.The detection rate of SMoV are 19.3%(18/93),and the samples of SMoV were detected from Fuzhou,Zhangzhou,Sanming and Nanping respectively.,The detection rate of each district is 69.2%(9/13)of Fuzhou,40%(4/10)of Zhangzhou,20%(2/10)and 30%(3/10)of Nanping.The detection rate of SMYEV is 3.2%(3/93),among which SMYEV samples were detected from Ningde,and SMYEV's detection rate in Ningde was 15%(3/20).The detection rate of SVBV was 31.1%(29/93),and the samples of SVBV were detected from Fuzhou,Xiamen,Putian,Zhangzhou,Ningde and Nanping,The detection rate of each district was 92.3%(12/13)in Fuzhou,10%(1/10)in Xiamen,50%(5/10)in Putian,90%(9/10)in Zhangzhou,5%(1/20)in Ningde and 10%(1/10)in Nanping.SCrV-3's detection rate was 2.2%(2/93),including SCrV-3 samples from Fuzhou,detection rate of SCrV-3 was 15.4%(2/13)in Fuzhou.The detection rate of SCrV-4 was 3.2%(3/93),and the SCrV-4 samples are from Fuzhou,SCrV-4's detection rate in Fuzhou was 23.1%(3/13).The detection rate of SPaV was 3.2%(3/93).The SPaV samples were from Fuzhou,and the detection rate of SPaV in Fuzhou was 23.1%(3/13).SCV,BPYV and SPV1 were not detected.Among them,the SPaV,SCrV-3 and SCrV-4 were firstly reported in China.Infected strawberry showed weakness,small leaves,chlorosis,distortion and dwarf.Using RT-PCR and RACE technology had acquired the whole genome sequence of SPaV-FZ,the RNA1 length of the SPaV-FZ was 8048 nt,nucleotide homology of SPaV-FZ RNA1 comparing with SPaV-M1 RNA1(AY488137)was 98%,the RNA2 length of the SPaV-FZ was 7977 nt,nucleotide homology of SPaV-FZ RNA2 comparing with SPaV-M1 RNA2(AY488138)was 99%.The results of this study can provide theoretical basis and scientific basis for strawberry virus disease prevention strategies.
