| Accurately grasp the vitality of seeds,farmers can effectively guide the use of high-energy seeds,seed companies will be able to grasp the changes in storage of seed vitality to improve storage conditions.Seed vigor is mainly affected by genetic and environmental factors,genetic factors determine the possibility of seed vitality,and environmental factors determine the possibility of the degree of vitality,this paper studies the seed maturity and aging and seed vigor changes law.Due to the rapid cooling of the seed harvest period,early frost in advance,limiting the seed harvest time,thus affecting the seed quality,this chapter studies under the same production conditions,different hybrid corn seed maturity in the relationship between the maturity and vitality The dynamic changes of seed weight,dry weight and water content during the formation of seed vigor of different maize hybrids were studied.The optimal harvest time for different maize hybrids was determined,which provided technical support for high-vigor corn seed production.Six hybrid cultivars including early maturing variety experiment No.1,experiment No.2,experiment No.3,middle and late maturing variety experiment No.4,late maturing variety experiment No.5 and experiment No.6 were used as materials.Harvest 30 days after pollination every 3 days harvest,analyze the dry weight of kernel,fresh weight,water content change,observe the appearance of black layer.The maturity and vigor of seed were studied by growth characteristics,stress test and physiological and biochemical tests on different maturity seeds.Finally,it was concluded that the precocious maize varieties in the experimental area harvested 45-48 days after pollination and the water content was 29.1%-34.3%,and the high-vigor seeds were harvested three to six days before the emergence of the black layer.The medium-,35.4%-35.9% of water content.The black layer was harvested about three days before harvest,and high-vigor seeds could be obtained.Latematuring corn varieties harvested 54-57 days after pollination and 34.7%-38.1% of water content,Get high-energy seeds.Artificial aging experiments Corn experiments No.3 and No.5 were used as experimental materials and the effects of different aging treatments on the seed vigor of corn were studied by artificial aging of high temperature and high humidity.Aging of the aging time,the different strains showed slow emergence,emergence rate and seedling height decreased,and the robustness of seedlings worse,or even can not emerge;artificial aging indoor standard seed germination test showed that with the aging time,the germination rate,Germination index and vitality index all showed a downward trend,and the vitality index decreased significantly at 2 days after aging.The germination rate,germination index and vitality index of the tested lines were all significantly reduced after being aged for 8-10 days.The activity of the endosperm aleurone layer of artificial aging maize seeds showed that the aging led to the decrease of the cell viability of the aleurone layer and the artificial aging Treatment of 8d maize seeds,even with the induction of exogenous GA,is difficult to produce a-amylase,indicating aleurone cell activity may have been lost;Artificial aging seed germination tests showed that as the aging time,Seed germination activity showed a decreasing trend,suggesting that the reduction of seed vigor caused by aging may be due to the interaction of seed embryo and aleurone activity.In short the longer the artificial time the lower the vitality of the seed.This article only studies the maturity of maize seeds and the storage time of maize seeds which affect the vigor of maize seeds,hoping to study the influencing factors of maize seed vigor. |
