As one of the world's major food crops,at least half of the world's population feed on rice.Improving rice yield and disease resistance has always been the goal of breeders.This is mainly from two aspects: one is the potential for high rice production and the second is to increase the ability of rice to withstand adverse environmental conditions.For this purpose,this paper has mainly done the following two aspects of the study:Part I: Fine mapping of dominant genic male sterility gene SMS precisely in riceMost of the rice sterility genes are recessive,dominant sterility gene are relatively rare.Fertility of malesterility gene SMS is stable and separation ratio meets mendelian genetic law.In the process of hybridization will save a lot of manpower and material resources,A large number of hybrid combinations are available in a short period of time.Combined law of linkage and crossing-over fine mapping of SMS to In3 and ZM9 on chromosome 8 using SSR markers and Indel markers and in this interval predicted 13 candidate genes.Part II: Identification of rice blast resistance gene.Rice blast disease has been the main disease affecting rice yield,especially the neck blast.Each year,global rice yields are reduced by up to a third due to rice blast disease.This study used 150 collected rice materials as the research object.Based on the test results of field phenotypes and resistance genes,the relationship between resistance genes of 14 rice blast resistance genes(Pi9,Pita,Pib,Pikm-1,Pikm-2,Pikh,Pi2,Pid2,Pi5,Pit,Pik,Pikp,Pid3,Pi25)and rice blast resistance were analyzed.The results showed that of the 150 materials,92 were disease resistant materials and 58 were susceptible materials.The 149 rice materials contain 1 to 9 blast resistance genes,and the 14 genes have a gene frequency ranging from 0.67%(Pi5,Pid2)to 89.3%(Pi9): Pi5(0.67%),Pid2(0.67%),Pit(4.7%),Pi2(4.7%),Pita(24%),Pid3(28.7%),Pib(30%),Pi25(47.3%),Pikm-2(58%),Pikm-1(64%),Pikh(80%),Pi9(89.3%).The Pikp and Pik genes were not detected in 150 materal.According to the results of field phenotype and resistance gene detection,the relationship between resistance genes and resistance genes of rice blast was analyzed.The results showed that the Pid3 resistance gene was significantly correlated with the resistance of rice blast in the Yutai county of Jining city.
