| In this paper, the effects of AMF on the root morphology of Zea mays are studied by pot experiment, and the physiological mechanism of the influence is explored. Two treatments of vaccinated mycorrhizal mildew GE2A and GE4 are set up,and no inoculation used as control. The samples measured at 32 days(seedling stage),54 days(male stage),81 days(grain formation period)and 108 days(mature period)after inoculation, respectively to determine the growth index of mycorrhizal infection rate,Zea mays plant height and root morphology respectively. As well as the physiological indexes of Chl,root activity,MDA content, defensive enzyme activity and endogenous hormone content, the correlation between the determination index and the mycorrhizal infection rate was analyzed. The main results are as follows:(1)Inoculation of AM fungi has a significant effect on the root length, root surface area, root volume and root dry weight of Zea mays, and the effect of GE2A and GE4 is similar.(2)There is a correlation between the growth index of aboveground parts of Zea mays and the infection rate of AM fungi. The infection of AM fungi increased plant height, stem diameter,Chl and soluble sugar content, and the increase of plant height and soluble sugar content significantly promoted root growth.(3)There is a positive correlation between AM fungi and root activity of Zea mays.AM fungi promoted root growth to some extent by increasing root activity.(4)AMF increased MDA content and SOD activity in Zea mays, while GE2A and GE4 have opposite effects on PPO activity.(5)AMF resulted in the change of endogenous hormones in Zea mays, thus affecting the aboveground, root morphology and life activities of Zea mays.AM fungi increased the content of GA,CTK and ZT in the root, reduced the content of ABA in root, and promoted root growth;GE2A and GE4 can maintain high IAA and ETH content in root at last stage;GE2A and GE4 had different effects on other endogenous hormones. |
