Since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949,China's construction industry has been developing rapidly,expanding in scale,optimizing in structure,improving in technology and strength,and making outstanding contributions to economic and social development.In the whole construction industry,the fastest growth is the building decoration industry,up to now,the building decoration industry has become one of the three pillar industries of the construction industry.With the development of architectural decoration industry,it has also driven the development of its related industries.Woodworking saw blade as one of the main decoration tools,the market demand is increasing.It is necessary to test the performance of the saw blade before it leaves the factory.The manual measurement method is not only slow and difficult to ensure the measurement accuracy,but also the measurement results are not intuitive and the data processing is slow,so it is not suitable for the detection of a large number of saw blades,computer vision detection cost is high,take up the work space is big.In view of this situation,this paper designs a set of geometric size measurement system for woodworking saw blade based on embedded vision.This system combines the embedded system and image processing technology,preprocessing and geometric calculation of the images collected by industrial cameras on the raspberry PI development platform,and realizing the detection of the geometric dimensions of woodworking saw blades.Therefore,it has the following advantages: because of the use of embedded system,can reduce the area and cost of the work area;The machine vision can improve the speed and precision of saw blade detection.The main research work of this paper is summarized as follows:(1)a set of geometric size detection system of saw blade is designed,which is composed of image acquisition part,image processing part and motion control system.Key hardware of the system,such as camera,lens,light source and embedded development board,is selected.(2)the distortion of the lens was corrected by using zhang zhengyou calibration method,and the pixel size on the image was converted to the actual size by camera calibration technology.(3)the research on image preprocessing is carried out,and the noise in the actual image is denoised by median filtering technology;In view of the big color difference in the gray scale image,the image was binomial processing by using the double-peak method.The defects of binarization map are further treated by morphological processing.Finally,canny operator was used to extract the edge of binarization image.(4)according to the geometric characteristics of the saw blade,the algorithm is designed with the tooth tip as the feature point to realize the detection of the geometric size of the saw blade.(5)test the system and analyze the error.
