The 21 st century is a digital era supported by the Internet.Digital reproduction technology develops rapidly,which provides technical support for the protection and inheritance of ancient architectural culture.Taking Nanjing Ming City Wall as the research object,this paper uses digital reproduction technology to separate the building information and entity of Nanjing Ming City Wall,create digital virtual space,and realize the digital reproduction of Nanjing Ming City Wall.The paper mainly includes four parts: the first part is the introduction.In the digital age supported by Internet plus,digital technology has brought forth new ideas,and people have changed in the way of protecting and propagate the ancient architectural heritage.In this context,the protection and inheritance of Nanjing Ming city wall is particularly prominent.It is urgent to solve the problem of permanent preservation through digitalization.The author analyzes the feasibility of digital reproduction of Nanjing Ming city wall from two aspects of theoretical value and practical value.In addition,this paper expounds the current research situation of this topic,respectively from the research of digital reappearance application,the research of digital reappearance of history and culture,and the research of Nanjing Ming city wall,highly summarizes and evaluates the research results and values of others,and points out the shortcomings of digital reappearance research in Nanjing Ming City Wall research,so as to lead to the topic of this paper-Nanjing Ming City Wall digital reappearance research Research on reproduction design.The second part is the digital reproduction technology and its significance to the protection and development of Nanjing Ming city wall.Nanjing is a famous cultural city in Chinese history,which contains rich historical and cultural heritage.At the same time,as a large-scale cultural heritage left behind by the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties,Nanjing Ming city wall,as a well preserved brick and soil structure city wall of a unified historical Dynasty in China,has important historical,cultural,educational and economic value attributes,and has become a symbolic carrier of Nanjing's urban characteristics.Therefore,protecting Nanjing Ming city wall can effectively protect Nanjing'surban history and culture It can also promote the development of Nanjing's urban tourism.In the third and fourth parts,the data collection and material analysis of the digital reproduction design of Nanjing Ming city wall and the model design and image synthesis of the digital reproduction design of Nanjing Ming city wall are described.On the basis of data collection and material analysis,the selected data will be well aligned.According to the effective data,scene model making,lens preview,material mapping,lighting setting,rendering output will be carried out.Finally,the final test,adjustment and improvement of the work will be carried out to illustrate the production process of digital reproduction of Nanjing Ming city wall.The purpose of this paper is to realize the digital protection and inheritance of Nanjing Ming City Wall through digital reproduction technology,and to provide new preservation and display means for those cultural heritage with historical,cultural and economic research value,which has important practical significance for the future research and inheritance of cultural heritage.
