Nowadays,the world is in an unprecedented situation,and all countries in the world are experiencing the baptism of economic globalization.On the one hand,with the readjustment of the international division of labor,the continuous progress of science and technology,new transnational capital constantly emerged,and the process of economic globalization developed steadily.On the other hand,trade disputes are becoming more frequent,protectionism is gradually emerging and economic globalization is slowing down.It is in this context that China has put forward The Belt and Road initiative,which provides new energy for the promotion of economic globalization.Chinese enterprises are expected to play a more important role in the development of the world economy in the future as the pace of their participation in global competition keeps accelerating.Y group,as one of the most important state-owned enterprises in Yunnan Province,the goal of Y group is not only to achieve its own development,but also to assume "go global" strategy as social responsibilities in Yunnan Province.After years of efforts,Y Group has build a number of projects with great influence in many developing countries and regions,meanwhile,the brand influence building is starting to deliver impressive results in some countries.However,in the complex and everchanging global environment,there are still some problems in the process of Y group's "go global" strategy,such as insufficient analysis of the national conditions of the host country,narrow access to overseas financing,single investment methods,lack of international talent,lack of internal coordination,weak level of risk control,etc.To some extent,these problems restrict the progress of Y Group "go global" strategy.It is urgent for Y Group to adjust the train of thought,explore the development strategy of "go global" which suitable for the enterprise itself.Based on the theory of international direct investment and strategic management,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the internal and external situation faced by Y group in the direction of international investment and strategic management.The PESTMEL model is used on analyze the current overseas investment environment and the policy advantages of The Belt and Road.In this paper,the development status of Y group and achievements and experience of "go global" strategy in recent years are summarized in detail.The strategic direction suitable for Y Group's overseas development is put forward by SWOT analysis combined with the environment of world economic integration and Catfish Effect caused by The Belt And Road initiative,and putting forward countermeasures to the existing difficulties and problems.This paper puts forward a diversified financing strategy,reasonable overseas investment path,advanced strategic management mechanism,perfect localized talent management system and promotion of multinational enterprise culture as the starting point to achieve the enterprise development goals.The research of this paper has reference significance for construction enterprises in Yunnan province to make overseas development strategies.
