In this paper,the frame structure of an electric patrol car is analyzed by finite element method,and the optimize design is given according to the analysis results.As the main structure of the electric patrol car,the frame carries most of the parts of the electric vehicle.As a load-bearing structure,the strength and stiffness of the frame is very important.At the same time,in order to reduce the vibration,the design of the frame should have reasonable dynamic characteristics to adapt to different working conditions and road conditions.A well-designed frame can improve vehicle safety,handling and ride comfort,thus making the user experience more satisfying,and improve the market sales.In this paper,the frame strength and vibration characteristics of a miniature electric patrol car are studied by static analysis and modal analysis.According to the actual technical requirements and road conditions,six typical working conditions of this electric vehicle are selected.The frame will have different mechanical performance under different working conditions.In order to meet the requirements of stiffness and strength of the frame,the necessary optimization design is given.Firstly,the required frame graphics are drawn with Solid Works,and the 3D solid model is obtained after processing.And then,ANSYS finite element analysis software is used to carry out static analysis of the electric vehicle frame.Under six typical working conditions,which parts of the frame have unreasonable deformation,and which parts are too concentrated and excessive stress are studied.This provides important data support for the optimal design of the frame.According to the data obtained from the analysis,the original frame mechanism is changed,and the dimensions of some structures are optimized.Then the statics analysis is carried out again to verify the rationality.Using the model after optimization,four typical working conditions are selected for modal analysis.The vibration characteristics of the frame can be obtained by analyzing the sixth mode of each working condition.Although vibrations cannot be completely eliminated,but it can be avoided in the process of daily use by changing the frame structure to improve comfort.Finally,a harmonic response analysis module is used to verify the rationality of frame optimization.During studying the thesis,I had a more in-depth study in the production of 3D model,the application of finite element analysis software and the analysis of results,gain a better understanding of the rationality of frame structure design,and have mastered the necessary professional skills at the same time.
