The composite structure is evolved from the reinforced concrete structure,which gives full play to the characteristics of concrete and steel materials,so it has been widely used at present.With the diversification of building functions,the beam section size of the structural system gradually increases,and more and more deep beams appear in the structural system.As a new type of composite structure,the u-shaped concrete composite deep beam has many advantages,such as high rigidity,high bearing capacity and convenient construction,so it has a wide application prospect.This paper conducts an experimental study on the outsourced u-shaped steel-concrete composite deep beam.The main contents of the study are as follows:(1)Failure Mode and Failure Mechanism of U-beam-Concrete Composite deep beam;(2)Constraint effect of U-beam on concrete;(3)Based on the nonlinear finite element analysis of the composite deep beam with ABAQUS,the factors that influence the shear capacity of the outsourced U-shaped steel-concrete composite deep beam are obtained;(4)STM model is used to get the calculation formula of shear ultimate bearing capacity of u-shaped steel-concrete composite deep beam;Based on the experimental study and finite element analysis of three u-shaped steel-concrete composite deep beam specimens,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)The damage of u-shaped steel-concrete composite deep beam is mainly due to the concrete baroclinic failure of bearing joints,which causes the concrete end to slip out of the steel beam end under the oblique pressure of the baroclinic,making the specimen lose its bearing capacity;(2)Due to the action of steel beam and internal steel drawing plate,the concrete is restrained and the bearing capacity is increased;(3)The main factors affecting the shear capacity of u-shaped steel-concrete composite deep beam are the strength of concrete and steel plate and the thickness of steel plate;(4)The shear ultimate bearing capacity of u-shaped steel-concrete composite deep beam is mainly composed of the superposition of shear strength of concrete and shear strength of steel beam side plate.
