With the continuous development of science and technology in recent years,China has entered the information age.In this era,informationization,industrialization and intelligence have become the three leading directions for the development of China's infrastructure sector.At the same time,China's construction industry is gradually promoting BIM-related technologies and methods.With the continuous development of BIM technology,Generative Design has gradually appeared in the human vision.Generative Design is an information-based,intelligent,and visual design method,and integrates cloud computing and artificial intelligence that are developing in recent years.It is a new design concept.Based on this,research was conducted on "Bridge Generative Design".The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)Starting from the collation of the research status at home and abroad,the development process of BIM technology and Generative Design is introduced.This paper introduces,compares and selects the Generative Design platform based on BIM technology.This paper proposes to use Bentley's MS as the basic platform and select GC as the Generative design software to design the bridge.(2)The core modeling methods in Generative design are systematically introduced,and the logical correlation modeling method is systematically introduced through actual cases,and the advantages of this design method are summarized:Generative design can improve the design efficiency of the designer,and can quickly generate accurate and comprehensive alternatives according to the specified parameter information,which greatly reduces the time to regenerate alternatives.(3)In generative design software,rapid modeling tools are created through visual programming and computer language programming.Various elements such as bridge aesthetics,openwork art,and light and shadow art are integrated into the Generative design of the bridge,and they are objectively and vividly expressed through different bridge shapes,and explore the application of the Generative design in the aesthetic design of the bridge.(4)After the generative design of the bridge is completed,the BIM model is imported into the finite element analysis software ANSYS for optimization analysis.The structural model was optimized in terms of material type,binary scheme size and density,structural support system cross-section size and structural tensile system cross-section size.By comparing the specific parameters of displacement and volume of the rod,the specific values of volume reduction rate and displacement reduction rate are obtained.Through numerical analysis,it is concluded that the overall volume of the truss is greatly reduced compared to before optimization,reducing the project cost and the design tends to be reasonable.
