The frequent occurrence of traffic accidents at night makes night driving safety become an important issue in the development of automotive technology.In order to solve the problem that traditional car headlights cannot dynamically adjust the headlight type and affect the safety of driving at night,adaptive headlight technology came into being.The latest generation of adaptive headlight system is ADB(Adaptive Driving Beam)system,which can dynamically capture the position of the moving light source in front of the vehicle at night and extinguish the lights of the corresponding part of the own car,thereby improving the driver's sight distance and effectively reducing the frequency of night traffic accidents.Real-time and accuracy control is the key to ADB system's control reliability.Since cars are high-speed moving objects,reasonable hardware design layout and tending to perfect software control strategy are the basis of ADB system's real-time control and accuracy control..Based on the development status of the ADB system,this paper researches and develops the LED matrix headlight system based on ADB,studies and explores the improvement and optimization of the control process and control strategy of the ADB system.Based on the development status of the ADB system,this paper researches and develops the LED matrix headlight system based on ADB,studies and explores the improvement and optimization of the control process and control strategy of the ADB system in order to improve the real-time and accuracy of the system control.The main research contents are as follows:1)According to the functional principle of the ADB system,design the overall framework of the ADB matrix headlight system,and divide the system into several modules such as control module,drive module,boost module,constant current source module and so on.Combined with the functional requirements of the ADB system,the function distribution and electrical parameters of each module were designed.On this basis,the embedded system hardware design,debugging and software basic process design of the ADB matrix headlight system were completed.2)For the purpose of improving the real-time and accuracy of system control,thefollowing optimization of the designed control system software control strategy has been carried out:a.Aiming at the problem that there are many kinds of road light sources at night and it is easy to interfere with the collection of the target headlight source,on the basis of comparative analysis of the characteristics of the vehicle's trajectory in various road conditions,The target headlight source selection algorithm suitable for night is proposed.This algorithm matching the headlight source position information and integrating it into the Kalman filter tracking algorithm to obtain a high-precision target car light source trajectory.b.In view of the problem that the system control signal transmission delay causes the system control lag,on the basis of obtaining high-precision headlight source trajectories,the headlight trajectory prediction algorithm based on AR model is proposed,and multiple time steps are performed on the car light trajectory prediction to compensate for signal delay caused by signal transmission and system control algorithms,and improve the real-time performance of system control.c.Convert the target vehicle headlight position instruction obtained after the optimization of the control strategy into the drive module instruction,specifically including the packaging and receiving of the control instruction,and finally realizing the implemention of the control strategy of the ADB matrix headlight system3)Carry out functional test and real vehicle test experiment on the designed system,and use Matlab to write a system control optimization program to simulate and analyze the driving video of the real vehicle collecting different road conditions,and verify the hardware circuit and control strategy optimization algorithm of the designed system Performance evaluation.The experimental results prove that the ADB matrix headlight system designed in this paper can realize the designed functions,the optimization algorithm has better performance,and certain application value,which can provide a certain reference basis for further research of the ADB system in the future.
