The rotor topology of the IPMSM has developed from the simple "I" type in the beginning to the complex multi-layer type at present,the rotor topology of the motor emerged in an endless stream,resulting in a wide variety of situations.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the rotor topology of IPMSM.This paper summarizes,designs,compares and optimizes the rotor topology of new energy vehicle.The main work of this paper is as follows:First of all,the magnetic circuit parameters of the new energy vehicle motor are designed According to the performance requirements of driving motor of new energy vehicle and the flow method and theoretical formula of motor design.It mainly includes the main size of stator and rotor,stator slot type and slot parameters,number of poles and slots,stator winding parameters and air gap length,etc.This paper introduces the topological structure of traditional permanent magnet synchronous motor and the development and evolution of new energy vehicle.Simulation modeling is carried out for four new types of rotor topology motors: double-I type(2I),doubleV type(2V),V plus I type(?)and Spoke type(Spoke),the no-load performance,on-load performance,flux-weakening performance,torque density and power density of the four motors are analyzed and compared,it is concluded that the flux-weakening speed expansion capacity of 2V type is the strongest and the torque and power density of ? type is the highest.The structure parameters of the ?-type permanent magnet with the highest torque density in four topological structures are selected to optimize.Firstly,taguchi method was used for preliminary optimization,and then the response surface model was established based on the simulation results of taguchi method with Design-Expert software to obtain the optimal parameter combination.After optimization,the torque density of the motor was increased and the torque ripple decreased obviously.Finally,the prototype of the optimized ? type motor was made,and the experimental platform was built for the output performance test.The results showed that the deviation between the motor performance and the simulation results was within the allowable range,which demonstrated the effectiveness of the rotor topology optimization of the motor.
