The production capacity of equipment is an important basis for evaluating the strength of an enterprise,and it is also a key basic factor for whether an enterprise can respond to the diversified needs of the market in a timely manner.As a core indicator of measuring production capacity—Overall Equipment Effectiveness(OEE)can effectively measure the utilization efficiency of a single device,and then from the perspective of eliminating the six major losses of equipment,improve the utilization of a single device.However,with the increasing market competition,it is not enough to explore the potential of the equipment from the perspective of a single device.It can neither dig hidden capacity in the manufacturing system nor maximize the capacity utilization of the manufacturing system.In order to solve the research hotspots in this manufacturing field,this paper,from the perspective of the entire manufacturing system,combines information tools to study the Lean Discrete Manufacturing System based on Overall Factory Effectiveness(OFE).The purpose is twofold.The first is to evaluate factory-level production performance and diagnose bottlenecks from the perspective of the entire manufacturing system;the second is to combine this method with information technology to improve the management efficiency of manufacturing enterprises.The main work of this paper is as follows: First,based on the collection and arrangement of a large amount of literature in this research,a discrete manufacturing system model is constructed,and a global production performance evaluation index(OTE)is established according to the characteristics of the system to evaluate the production capacity of the manufacturing system.The system can be combined using any subsystem defined in the model to meet the modeling needs of different plant layouts.The model established in this paper can assess the utilization of production capacity from a factory-level perspective and has the ability to diagnose bottlenecks.Hypothesis test was performed on the model,and the results verified its validity.Furthermore,this article uses the typical discrete manufacturing A enterprise as the research background to apply the above model method to practical applications.This article combines the OTE evaluation method with the information model advocated by intelligent manufacturing,and designs the system from the perspective of business processes,system requirements,database design,system functions,etc.,and builds a comprehensive efficiency monitoring system for equipment to solve the problems of enterprise A.The system uses data visualization and abnormal data alarms to monitor the company's production status from the factory level to the segment level to the equipment level to monitor the utilization of equipment capacity and production conditions.As an open system,it is a supplement to Manufacturing Execution System(MES),and it also realizes information sharing with auxiliary management software such as MES and ERP.The application results show that the system has excellent application prospects and promotion value,and can be used as an important part of intelligent manufacturing systems for mining the capacity limit and performance evaluation of discrete manufacturing systems.
