The 110kV substation in L County was built in the late 1950s,and it is responsible for the power consumption of the surrounding electrical,textile,petroleum,chemical,urban and rural residents and agriculture and agricultural and auxiliary industries.However,the substation has a long operating period,poor operating conditions,insufficient capacity,aging equipment,high maintenance costs,and potential safety hazards,threatening the safe operation of the power grid,and the power supply load cannot meet the future power demand.According to the status quo,operation situation and efficiency cost of the 110kV substation in L County before the transformation,the necessity of substation renovation and upgrading is demonstrated.The operation and analysis of the primary and secondary systems are carried out,and the substation capacity supply is insufficient,the running time is long,and the equipment is aging.Serious,low reliability and other issues have raised the need for a system capacity increase and intelligent transformation of the secondary system.Through the use of time series method for load forecasting,and using the average value as the capacity increase demand,the capacity expansion and transformation plan of L County substation is determined;the connection plan based on power grid development is reasonable,the construction is convenient and no power is cut,and the main line double-circuit line reconstruction plan is determined;Calculation and short-circuit calculation select the primary system equipment and parameters;design and calculate the over-voltage protection and grounding of the substation,determine the selection of the arrester,the protection range of the lightning rod and the application of the grounding grid.The paper designs a three-layer two-network automation system transformation plan for the 110kV intelligent substation in L County.According to the scheme,the system has a comprehensive system of secondary system structure,substation automation system,system dispatching automation,relay protection scheme,dispatching automation,system communication and other systems.The transformation,transformation of the substation,with micro-computerized,intelligent,automated functions,with unattended conditions.The operation status of the substation after the overall transformation and application is analyzed,and the static recovery period of the project is calculated by the net present value method and the investment recovery cycle method;the equipment failure rate and component failure parameters are determined through direct and indirect benefit analysis and reliability analysis of social benefits.Combined,the regional average power outage time was calculated,and the results showed that the average failure time decreased significantly after the transformation.The transformation of the 110kV substation in L County is a successful transformation project.After the transformation,the substation operation status is greatly improved,and the failure rate and failure time are reduced.
