The popularization and promotion of electric vehicles(EVs)will undoubtedly provide solutions to the current environmental and energy conflicts,but the backward understanding of emerging industries and the slow construction of infrastructure have brought problems that cannot be ignored in the transportation field.First of all,due to the limitation of battery capacity of EVs,the driving range is slightly insufficient compared to traditional fuel vehicles.Second,inadequate understanding of the battery performance of EVs by drivers leads to unreasonable charging and discharging behavior,which in turn affects the driving range and charging efficiency of EVs,aggravates the driver's mileage anxiety,and hinders the further expansion of the EV market.Existing literature research mainly focuses on charging infrastructure layout and battery power consumption estimation,ignoring the necessity of charging time instability research..This article attempts to fill in the research gap by understanding the impact of overcharging,frequent charging,and extremely low residual power on the recharge efficiency of EVs.According to the 13-month GPS records of 473 pure EVs in Aichi,Japan,the factors that affect the recharging efficiency of EVs were analyzed using the stratified Cox model,parametric survival model and frailty model in the survival analysis.In this paper,survival time is redefined as the average time required for a 1% increase of state of charge(SOC),which helps to use the survival model to analyze the possible influencing factors of recharging efficiency.The final result shows that a total of 11 variables including charging state,driver charging behavior choice and type of vehicle ownership have a significant impact on the fast-charging and slow-charging recharging efficiency.Under different charging type and SOC,drivers need to adopt different charging behaviors to achieve optimal efficiency.
