TA23 is a medium-strength near-alpha permeable titanium alloy of nominal component Ti-2.5Al-2Zr-1Fe.With excellent cold forming performance and welding properties,it mainly used in the manufacture of ship components.Taken 12 mm thick TA23 plate as the research object,this paper studied the influence law of alloy elements,plate rolling and heat treatment process on the microstructure and properties of TA23plate by testing the main technical indexes such as microstructure,tensile properties,impact property and bending property.The experimental results show that high quality TA23 plate can be produced after optimizing alloy composition ratio,controlling rolling process and heat treatment parameters.The strength of TA23 titanium alloy plate raises remarkably with the increase of alloy element weight percentage,but the plasticity changes slightly;with the increase of rolling times and finishing temperature,the strength increases slightly and the plasticity changes little;the strength decreases gradually with the increase of heat treatment temperature,while the plasticity increases gradually.In the optimized process parameters,the alloy composition ratios for elements are Al:2.8%,Zr:2.1%,Fe:1.1%,O:0.13%,Si?0.02%,C?0.01%,N?0.01%,H?0.008%.The cogging temperature of TA23 plate is at 40?below??+??/?phase transition temperature,the final rolling temperature is at 100?below??+??/?phase transition temperature.The heat treatment is 710?/1 h740?/1 h.The high-quality TA23 plate can be produced by optimizing the production process,which of uniform?+?two-phase region on microstructure after heat treatment with properties of Rm?756 MPa,Rp0.2?618 MPa,A?23.5%,Z?45%,KV2?83 J,bending angle can achieve 180°.This paper studies closely related to the industrial production,provides the optimal production technology control parameters,the research results provide practical guidance for industrialization production of TA23 titanium alloy plate which of practical significance.
