Research On Milan’s Urban Cultural Space

Under the background of the rapid development of economic globalization,culture has become an important driving force for urban development.As one of the urban spatial types that is indispensable for supporting cultural development,urban cultural space has always been a hot spot of academic research.However,the existing research lacks the specific type of urban cultural space,and reveals its distribution characteristics from the overall level of the city and explores the driving mechanism behind it.In fact,the construction and development of urban cultural space is closely related to a series of problems such as traditional cultural protection,urban form change,industrial structure adjustment,urban cultural construction and urban renewal.Therefore,the study of urban cultural space has a high reference value for the cultural construction that is emerging in China.Milan is a world-class historical and cultural city with rich cultural heritage.In addition,the art and culture industries such as fashion and design have great influence in Europe and the world.It is of great academic significance to study its urban cultural space.Based on this,this article takes Milan as the research object and deeply interprets its urban cultural space.First of all,this paper defines the related concepts involved,and organizes relevant research summaries to form the basic technical route of the thesis research,using historical materials and related literature interpretation,field research and other methods to analyze the natural geographical situation,location conditions,historical evolution,etc.of Milan.Briefly summarize,on this basis,extract information on four aspects of urban roads,city walls and city gates,urban water systems and urban cultural spaces,from the urban embryonic period-preliminary setting period-pattern laying period-urban turbulence period-Steady development period-Development and expansion period A total of six urban development stages to carry out a combing study of the urban pattern,clarify the characteristics of its various stages,and finally summarize the three characteristics and four circle structure of the development of urban spatial pattern in Milan.Secondly,by studying the existing urban cultural space division methods in Milan,the author analyzes the basis of the modern urban cultural space type in Milan: commemorative,artistic,life and productive,and classifies the spiritual commemoration class according to its urban characteristics.There are four major cultural spaces in the fields of art and culture,daily life and education and production,which are subdivided into 15 categories.The cultural spaces of each type are further explained from the general concept,development history and representative space.The type space is summarized and summarized on the basis of the current urban pattern of Milan,and the information database of the modern urban cultural space of Milan is formed.Thirdly,using the quantitative analysis method and the GIS nuclear density estimation method,respectively,from the macro-middle view-microscopic overall urban cultural space and four categories,15 sub-categories of urban cultural space,to the modern urban cultural space of Milan The types of scale distribution characteristics and nuclear density distribution characteristics of each type are further studied to judge the balance and accessibility of the distribution at the urban level.On this basis,it is concluded that the modern urban cultural space of Milan is “strong under the circle structure”.The overall distribution characteristics of central agglomeration,banding + point diffusion.Finally,the dynamic mechanism behind the construction of Milan’s urban cultural space mainly includes the inheritance of historical space,the renewal of old areas,the promotion of religious factors,the rise of fashion art and the participation of public power.The construction of cultural space should inherit the historical and cultural space,explore the spatial value of urban stocks,and use cultural events as a catalyst to enhance the participation of the public and the mutual penetration with daily life.This paper contributes to the related academic research on the urban cultural space type,distribution characteristics and dynamic mechanism of Milan,and contributes to the related academic research of urban cultural space.At the same time,it provides some enlightenment and reference for the construction of urban cultural space in China.
