With the continuous and rapid development of China's economy,the infrastructure construction is booming,especially the scale of construction for long-span suspension bridge is growing.As an important transportation infrastructure and regional landmark project,how to effectively monitor the safety status and fatigue damage of long-span suspension bridges in real time during their operation has attracted great attention of bridge management and maintenance units.Therefore,it is particularly important to construct a reasonable and appropriate bridge health monitoring system with the analysis of bridge type characteristics and actual needs.The design and implementation of the monitoring system for long-span suspension bridge is analyzed in this paper,on the basis of reading a large number of materials at home and abroad.First of all,based on the study of the structure,function,stress characteristics and safety factors of suspension bridge,the monitoring requirements of long-span suspension bridges is analyzed combined with the code requirements and project examples.Secondly,based on the study of health monitoring system,which include the design principle,basic organization and some technical means,the practical application of the monitoring system is analyzed by focused on three subsystems: sensor,data acquisition and transmission,data processing and control.Relying on the project of Baling River Bridge in Guanling,Guizhou Province,the overall design of the bridge monitoring system is put forward through the analysis of monitoring system,which include the function module,monitoring method,setting of various monitoring points,data acquisition parameters and transmission framework.Finally,on the basis of establishing the evaluation theory and analysis method of health monitoring system operation,and based on the measured data of the monitoring system in the operation stage,taking data analysis as the breakthrough point,the dynamic operation of the bridge is analyzed in stages from three aspects of environmental impact data,geometric deformation displacement data and structural dynamic characteristic data.Through the application of the health monitoring system of the long-span suspension bridge,the actual operation safety condition of the bridge is evaluated,and the management and maintenance suggestions are put forward.The comprehensiveness and accuracy of the bridge monitoring system are verified,which provides scientific basis and certain reference significance for the research and maintenance of other similar bridges.
