A large number of famous large bridges with steel structure or steel-concrete composite structure have been built at home and abroad.How to realize the health monitoring of such large bridges,analyze and select appropriate analysis indicators for monitoring system requirements,and build a health monitoring system that can be pre-researched,judged and early-warned,which has important theoretical and practical significance for effectively assessing the structural condition of the bridge and guiding the operation and maintenance decisions of the bridge.The functional requirements and contents of large bridge health monitoring system are analyzed,covering data collection,data monitoring,data storage management,human-computer interaction interface,inspection and maintenance management,comprehensive early warning and safety assessment,and video surveillance.Based on system monitoring strategy,monitoring content,and system composition and function,the data acquisition,data transmission and implementation of each subsystem of the large bridge health monitoring system are described in detail,and the ten subsystems with the wind speed and direction,environmental temperature and humidity,rainfall,bridge loaded vehicle,structural vibration and earthquake,structural temperature,stress/strain,main beam deflection(linear),bearing displacement and video surveillance are designed,deployed,collected,displayed and implied.Moreover,application testing and data analysis of large bridge health monitoring systems are carried out,and preprocessing methods for systematic data error processing,eliminating duplicate data,and supplementing missing data are proposed.The large bridge health monitoring system is applied to the Dongjiang Bridge.The system monitors various functional indicators separately,and comprehensively analyzes the regularity and effectiveness of the monitoring data of each subsystem and the monitoring data of multiple sensors.The feasibility and reliability of various functions of the monitoring system are verified,and the operation status and health status of the bridge can be grasped in time through the system.
