In the current traffic environment, once a collision occurs between a car and an electrictwo-wheeler,the rider will often be seriously injured.Accurate and comprehensive injury assessment and characteristic research on riders in accidents can provide a research basis for the development of related protection devices or car body improvements, and also provide a reference basis for the formulation of relevant traffic regulations to protect such vulnerable road users.Based on LS-DYNA's simulation platform, this paper mainly studies and analyzes the injury situation of the riders in the collision accident between the car and the electric-twowheeler.It mainly includes: summarizing the injury mechanism and evaluation criteria of the vulnerable head, chest, abdomen and lower limbs from the perspective of biomechanics, which is used for the injury evaluation of the rider's simulation results;Statistical analysis and real case were carried out using such accident data in NAIS and CIDAS database, focused on the distribution of collision location and collision speed, and provided a data basis for parameter setting of simulation tests; The 3D model of each component was established according to the actual vehicle data, and the FE model of the electric-twowheeler was generated through pre-processing,and the validity of the model was verified by the benchmark of the centroid position and the benchmarking of the electric two-wheeled vehicle collision test and simulation, used the developed and verified electric-two-wheeler model, the adjusted THUMS model and the actual car collision verified car model to develop a car-electric two-wheeler-rider FE collision model;Used the collision model, simulation test were designed based on accident statistical analysis, focused on the impact of the three variables of vehicle speed, electric two-wheeler speed and initial collision position on the injury characteristics of the rider in the accident under typical operating conditions, and put forward targeted protective measures and suggestions according to the injury characteristics and causes of riders. The evaluation standard of the injury response of each part of the rider is the degree of damage to the bones, important organs and skin, which are based on changes in local stress, strain or pressure. The simulation test results of typical operating conditions show that: The speed of the car is an important factor that affects the severity of injury to various parts of the rider. When the speed increases, the degree of injury to the various parts of the rider is significantly increased; The head, thorax and abdomen are likely to cause serious injury when the two participating vehicles have relatively high speeds, and when the lower limbs collide with the front bumper, even if the speed is relatively low,the tibia has a greater risk of fracture; The three variables all affect the final collision position of the rider and the car, which in turn affects the injury characteristics of the relevant parts,at the same collision speed, the damage to the body caused by the edge of the hood, the A pillar and the nearby windshield is greater.
