As a power component of pneumatic systems,air compressors are widely used in various industries of the national economy,especially in important fields such as aerospace,with special requirements such as small mass,high pressure and small vibration.At present,the piston-type air compressor that can achieve medium and high pressure inevitably has the reciprocating inertial force and the moment of inertia during the working process,resulting in large vibration of the body and difficulty in achieving miniaturization,and it is difficult to meet the design requirements.Therefore,based on the miniaturization of two-dimensional(2D)pumps and valves,a two-dimensional(2D)micro medium air compressor for aerospace is designed and analyzed by MATLAB and ADAMS.The main research work and results are as follows:(1)We established a thermodynamic model of a two-dimensional(2D)micro medium air compressor based on thermodynamic principles,and detailed thermal analysis and calculation were carried out.We determined the three-stage compression of the air compressor and the pressure ratio of each stage,and calculated the thermal parameters such as exhaust coefficient,dry gas coefficient,pumping coefficient,intake and exhaust temperature,cylinder stroke volume,then we analyzed and calculated the theoretical power and efficiency,and selected the motor power.The above analysis and calculation provided reference for motor power seletion,and provided power theoretical data for the design of the machine.(2)Aiming at the fact that the traditional reciprocating piston air compressor can not achieve micro,medium and high pressure and small vibration at the same time,our study proposed a structure that a three-stage piston connecting rod integration,which simplified the structure and reduced the volumetric quality.Two sets of guide rails were used to achieve axial reciprocating inertial force balance,and reduce body vibration.Rectangular groove design corner distribution mechanism was used to replace common intake and exhaust valve group structure,which reduced the complexity of the design.We determined that the equal-addition deceleration curve was the rule of the guide rail motion,and we used MATLAB software and UG software to model the guide rail,the cylinder related parameters and the port distribution angle between piston and cylinder were designed and calculated,and the stability of the piston rod strut was checked.Stress analysis and strength check of main stressed parts were used to satisfy the operating requirements.(3)The dynamic characteristics of two-dimensional(2D)micro medium pressure air compressor has been analyzed.The mathematical function of gas pressure in each cylinder was derived by the general calculation formula of cylinder pressure,according to the curve function of equal acceleration and equal deceleration and the design of the angle of the cylinder and piston distribution mechanism.The gas pressure curve,force curve and piston force curve of each cylinder were simulated by MATLAB software.The ADAMS software was used to simulate the dynamics of the virtual prototype.We obtained the curves of displacement,velocity,acceleration and contact force of the rail,and compared with the theoretical curves,we verified the correctness of the mathematical model of the guide rail and the correctness of the contact force.(4)The running-in test and characteristic test of the two-dimensional(2D)microintermediate air compressor were carried out.The feasibility of inertial force balance was verified,and the property of the two-dimensional(2D)micro medium air compressor was satisfied the operating requirements.We demonstrated that product design was feasible,and provided engineering datas for product iteration.The two-dimensional(2D)micro medium pressure air compressor had strong innovation.There are many advantages including minimizing mass and volume,fully balancing internal inertial force and moments of inertia,and reducing vibration.Moreover,it can realize medium and high pressure and meet the requirements of special occasion.It is very suitable for application fields such as aerospace and other special requirements for mass,volume and performance.
