Ship lightweight is an important means to improve the competitiveness of shipyards,and better design of ship mid-section is an important way to achieve ship lightweight.The ship's mid-transverse section structure includes the thickness of the longitudinal plate in the middle part of the ship,the arrangement of the seam line,the size and arrangement of the longitudinal profile.The other parts of the longitudinal structure can be reasonably designed by referring to some of the structural dimensions in the ship.The longitudinal structure weight of the ship can reach 70% of the whole ship's structural weight.Taking a 320000 DWT tanker as the research object,this paper explores the optimization of ship Mid-Cross section structure based on rules,aiming at providing tools and reference for the optimization design of Mid-Cross section of tanker.The main research work of this paper is as follows:(1)The artificial bee colony algorithm is improved to make it suitable for the optimization of ship Mid-Cross section.The artificial bee colony algorithm is improved from the initialization strategy of honey source location,the probability selection strategy,the processing strategy when variables exceed the upper and lower bounds,and the penalty strategy,and the reliability of the algorithm is verified.(2)An optimum design model for the midship section of an oil tanker based on HCSR is established.Considering the main requirements of HCSR for the midship section,the minimum total area of midship section is taken as the objective function,and the net thickness of midship section structure is standardized.The artificial bee colony algorithm is improved.It is used to optimize the longitudinal thickness of midship section,the dimension and spacing of profile,and the position of seam line.(3)An optimum design tool for midship section of oil tanker based on criterion is developed.The improved artificial bee colony algorithm is compiled by using MATLAB.The attribute calculation,standard verification and penalty factor calculation of midship section are completed by using Excel VBA.The optimization design tool of midship section based on specification is completed by integrating MATLAB and Excel link by using DDE communication protocol and Excel link.(4)The difference of optimum design of oil tanker midship section based on net thickness and total thickness is explored.The requirement of HCSR for the net thickness of midship section is rewritten to the requirement for the total thickness of midship section.Based on this requirement,the optimal design of midship section based on the total thickness is carried out.The results are compared with the optimal design of midship section based on the net thickness.
