As an important marine equipment,Autonomous Underwater Vehicle(AUV)has a wide range of uses in the civil and military fields.Taking the overall AUV scheme design as the objective,this paper starts from the overall scheme,external profile,pressure-resistant shell,propulsion device,rudder device,buoyancy adjustment device and multidisciplinary optimization,and completes the preliminary design and optimization of key parts of functional AUV.The research can provide guidance for critical system design of modular AUV.And the research work is summarized as follows:(1)Overall design.Firstly,the structure and overall performance requirements of the AUV system are introduced.Then,the main process of the overall design and the layout of AUV are determined.Through the calculation and comparative analysis of resistance,the reasonable external scheme of AUV is selected.Aiming at the stealth requirement of AUV,acoustic cladding layer is laid to reduce the target strength.(2)Design of pressure-resistant structure.After selecting the appropriate shell material,the structure of the pressure shell form is determined according to the specification of the pressure shell strength and stability standards.Through the finite element software,the structural strength of the pressure-resistant structure meets the requirements.(3)Design of underwater navigate and control device.The structural form and arrangement scheme of the propulsion device are determined.Then,the power selection of the propulsion unit and the strength checking of key components are completed;After determining the tail rudder layout scheme and the airfoil parameters,the hydrodynamic performance of the rudder blade was calculated.Based on the current main buoyancy adjustment devices,this paper analyzes the applicability of the current devices and proposes a new buoyancy adjustment scheme.(4)Design Optimization of AUV.The Isight optimization platform was applied to establish mathematical models of AUV resistance discipline,stealth performance discipline and energy discipline.And NAGA-II algorithm was selected to optimize the preliminary design model of AUV.
