The research object of this thesis is a CFRP hood of one electrical vehicle, and mainly focuses on the design optimization of hood bending response in the case of positive collision.First of all,we finish the initial structure design of the CFRP hood based on all static strength conditions, and then establish the positive collision bending analysis model of the hood using the software Ls-dyna.The result of the analysis shows that the initial design structure can not meet the requirements of the hood bending in the case of positive collision, and it is necessary to optimize the hood.Secondly,we focus on three kinds of optimization proposal that can improve the bending effect of the hood, namely crushing grooves, opening hole and plies drop off.The influence of the key variables on the bending results is discussed, and on this basis,we get the Feasible solution. Finally, the final scheme is determined by considering the effect of bending weakening, the manufacturing feasibility of CFRP,appearance and other factors. Finally, the design is verified by the prototype vehicle crash test, and the related work is summarized and prospected.
