In recent years,with the rapid development of bike sharing system and takeout industry,non-motorized lanes are facing tremendous pressure with the rapid growth of non-motorized vehicles and the excessive speed of electric bicycles as the main characteristics,which makes the safety of driving on non-motorized lanes has been gradually concerned.For this reason,this paper intends to study the influence of setting deceleration facilities on traffic capacity of non-motorized lanes,focusing on three aspects which is comfort,safety and traffic capacity,respectively.In view of the existing research results of deceleration facilities in motor lanes and the problem of the electric bicycles excessive speed which needs to be solved,the content and direction of the research are determined.After analyzing the applicability of deceleration facilities in non-motorized lanes and combining with the feasibility of experiment implementation,the deceleration belt is selected as the representative of deceleration facilities.In order to provide relevant traffic data for the research content of this paper,the deceleration belt is taken as the experiment object to carry out the experiment design and implementation.The research of comfort in this paper mainly considers the degree of bump when passing the deceleration facilities.After studying the ride comfort when passing the deceleration facilities,it is found that the deceleration facilities will bring some irregularities.However,considering the deceleration purpose of deceleration facilities,it is considered that it is acceptable when the vehicle passes through after deceleration.Safety is mainly considered from two aspects: the severity of traffic accidents and the traffic accident rate.The severity of traffic accidents is measured by the change of average speed,and the traffic accident rate is measured by the discreteness of speed.According to the comparison and analysis of the results,it is all shown that deceleration facilities can improve the safety of non-motorized lanes.In the aspect of traffic capacity research,based on the experimental data,this paper establishes the calculation model of the nonmotorized lane traffic capacity under the influence of the setting height and interval of deceleration belt,and the blending rate of the electric bicycle.According to the analysis and calculation of the model,it is found that when the deceleration facilities are set with reasonable parameters,the traffic capacity of the non-motorized lane can be improved.Therefore,the reasonable setting of deceleration facilities is of great significance to the traffic capacity of road sections.Based on the above analysis,it is concluded that the reasonable setting of deceleration facilities can improve the traffic situation of non-motorized lane.
