Both the weakened connection and the strengthened connection are new connections proposed to solve the crack presented in the beam-column connection under the action of seismic loads.Both types of connections can move the plastic hinge outward from the beam and column interface,the weakened connection will not increase the weld seam in the joint area,causing this stress and is more widely used.The connection of web opening has the advantages of moving plastic hinge outward from the beam and column interface,making the pipe lines for water and gas pass through the beam and improving the application efficiency of room space in residence buildings.However,the beam web mainly provides the shear capacity,and the opening of the web will reduce the shear capacity of the beam.To this end,this paper proposes a new beam-column connection with local sinusoidal web.The beam-column connection with local sinusoidal web has folding effect,the axial tensile stiffness is small and the web is basically not resistant to bending,and the bending capacity of the beam at the local sinusoidal can be reduced,and the plastic hinge is moved outward.The shear capacity of the beam at the local sinusoidal is mainly provided by the web.When the thickness of the web at the local sinusoidal is the same as that of the flat web on both sides,the plastic hinge is moved outward without reducing the shear capacity of the beam.In this paper,a fine finite element model is established for the local sinusoidal web beam-column joints,and the correctness of the finite element modeling process is verified by existing experiments.Then the system analyzes the influence of different parameters on the mechanical behavior of local sinusoidal web beam-column joints,mainly the local sinusoidal web position,thickness,amplitude,sinusoidal length sinusoidal form and the number of sinusoidals on the plastic hinge position,elastic stiffness and elastic ultimate bearing capacity.The influence of each parameter on the energy consumption and ductility of the node.It is found that the new beam-column joints of local sinusoidal webs can realize the plastic hinge external displacement,and achieve the plastic bearing external displacement without reducing the shear capacity of the beam,and have good energy dissipation capacity and ductility.This paper gives the design process of the new node and the range of values of different parameters,which can provide reference for subsequent research.
