This subject is based on the development requirement of Ka-band tracking radar in air defense weapon system and the performance requirement of millimeter-wave transceiver module proposed by tracking radar at present,this paper focuses on solving the unsolved technical problems in the development and production of millimeter-wave T/R module,and carries out the design and development of millimeter-wave T/R module for the future millimeter-wave T/R module.The design and production of T/R module in the development of meter wave radar provide strong technical support..The development of 8mmT/R module is based on MMIC chip hybrid integrated circuit technology.The main purpose of this technology is to use the mature MMIC chip in China,and on this basis,use the microstrip line planar circuit structure to cascade the functional chips.Finally,the millimeter wave T/R module can transmit and receive signals.The main purpose of this project is to master the core technology of millimeter-wave circuit design,understand the millimeter-wave circuit processing process,and complete the development of 8mm-wave GaN transceiver module.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.Studying the basic design principle of T/R module,aiming at the advantages and disadvantages of various design methods,looking for the best design scheme to meet the requirements of this topic,focusing on the design principle and use of MMIC chips that need to be used in this topic.2.The hardware circuit design of T/R module includes the design of radio frequency transmitting branch,radio frequency receiving branch,power control circuit and microstrip waveguide transition circuit.Focus on the theoretical basis and design ideas of circuit design,and use ADS,HFSS and other software to simulate and verify the circuit.3.The structure design and micro assembly process of T / R module.After ultrasonic cleaning,conductive adhesive bonding,chip eutectic sintering,gold wire bonding,box body sealing and welding,the design of T / R module is completed and the final product is displayed.4.8mmT/R module results display,index testing and functional verification.For each index that does not meet the requirements of the index,the reason of the problem is analyzed by combining the circuit design and assembly process,and the solution is given.
