In the industrial field,speed reducers are widely used in the modern mechanical industry because of their unique advantages.The task of this thesis is based on the school-enterprise cooperated industry-university-research project.The worm gear reducer for precision grinding machine developed and produced by the enterprise will directly affect the quality of the grinding machine and silicon wafer processing because of its performance.Therefore,it is necessary to cooperate with the enterprise to develop the reducer comprehensive performance testbed,which can be used to test the comprehensive performance index of the reducer and ensure the quality of the reducer products.The main performance indicators of the worm gear reducer include vibration performance,transmission efficiency,temperature rise,and so on.Especially,the research on the vibration signal of the reducer can not only further improve the performance of the reducer,but also it can help with equipment fault diagnosis based on the characteristic frequency of the vibration signal.Therefore,the article focuses on the research of the vibration signal analysis theory of the reducer,and develops the comprehensive performance test system of the reducer based on LabVIEW software.The functions of the test system include the drive motor's speed control,simulation loading,temperature test,transmission efficiency test,speed and torque test,and vibration signal analysis of a reducer's processing module.The main research points of this thesis are as follows:First,it briefly introduces the present research situation of speed reducers and the test system and detailedly describes the analysis method of the reducer vibration signal from the domains of time,frequency and time-frequency.Besides,it focuses on the introduction of Hilbert-Huang Transform algorithm.Moreover,a method of combining cosine window function based on extremum envelope continuation is provided to solve the problem of endpoint effect in signal decomposition of Hilbert-Huang's algorithm.And the signal simulation experiment is also conducted with MATLAB.Second,the theoretical method of the performance test of worm speed reducers is also studied in this thesis.Furthermore,based on that,a hardware design is provided to test the motor speed regulation,the temperature and vibration.Third,this thesis briefly introduces the LabVIEW software,and develops a software based on the LabVIEW,which achieves the functions of motor control,magnetic particle loading,rotational speed and torque measurement,transmission efficiency calculation,temperature detection and test curve store.According to the flow chart of EMD signal decomposition and the characteristic of LabVIEW,the Hilbert-Huang Transform signal analysis module is developed and the simulation harmonic signal is provided to verify it.Finally,the developed overall performance test system of worm speed reducers is tested and analyzed.And the test results show that the system can meet the basic requirements of reducer test,which also indicates that the operation is convenient and the performance is reliable.
