With the rapid development of the railway transportation industry,the railway passenger traffic volume has been soaring,the construction scale of railway passenger terminals has become increasingly large,the inter-relationship between functional areas of the terminals has developed into a network,and the internal functional structure has developed to a three-dimension,thus making it a relatively complex network environment for passengers to face when choosing the service facilities in the terminals.Due to the particularity of railway passenger terminals,a large number of passenger flows usually pour into terminals in a short period,and as the service demand of different passenger is different,passengers will choose the route according to their demands and internal service network structure of terminals,so that different passenger flows within terminals are intertwined.During the peak period of passengers flows in weekends and holidays,large-scale railway passenger terminals have to serve tens of thousands or even more than 100,000 passengers,causing congestion as well as chaos in terminals,and thus influencing the operation efficiency of the internal service network of terminals.Therefore,this paper carries out research on passenger flow assignment in the internal service network of railway passenger terminals.Firstly,considering characteristics of passenger flow inside railway passenger terminals,the passenger flow in the terminals is calculated.The calculation of the outbound passenger flow is based on train timetable and seating capacity of train.The calculation of the inbound passenger flow is based on the distribution of passenger's waiting time fitted by the lognormal distribution function model.Combined with the train capacity,the graphic method is used to calculate the number of arrivals within the terminals.The characteristics of passenger flow OD inside the terminals are analyzed by investigation.Secondly,combined with the internal passenger service demand and OD characteristics of terminals,this paper explores the different service processes and their characteristics within terminals.Based on the internal passenger flow service process,this paper defines the different functional nodes within the terminals.Areas that provide the same service and have the same spatial location are divided into the same functional zone.Each functional zone is connected through the internal passages of the terminals,the buildings,the escalators,etc.,forming the internal service network structure.The method of graph theory is used to construct the topology model of the internal service network,which defines the attributes of nodes and edges in the network,and clarifies the implementation process of the internal service network of the terminal.Then,based on the different service processes and service network topology models,a method of passenger flow assignment within the railway passenger terminal is proposed.The Logit model of the passenger flow in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction is established.The horizontal path selection model considers the transit time of nodes and edges and the delay time of the guidance marks in the path.The vertical path selection model considers the effects of queuing time,stair height,load weight and time sensitivity.Finally,Wuhan Railway Station is taken as an example to analyze the passenger flow assignment in internal service network,and the flow assigned by each road segment is compared with the actual flow to verify the validity of the model.This paper re-assigns the passenger traffic flow during peak period of terminals and proposes the passenger flow organization of the internal service network of terminals.Based on the internal service network of railway passenger terminals,this paper proposes a more innovative passenger flow path selection model and passenger flow assignment method.The research conclusions provide an important reference for the internal operation management of the railway passenger terminals.
