Geomembrane tubes have been widely applied in the construction of the temporary dams of flood fighting.Imperviours Geotubes are often used to resist lateral effects. When lateral action is surcharged, the tube will lose stability. Therefore,it is necessary to install the support structure or anchor system to prevent the tumbling and sliding motion of the geomembrane tubes in the process of retaining water.A stable water retaining system not only ensures the stability of the geomembrane tubes itself, but also ensures the overturning and slip stability of the retaining structure under external force.Under the condition that the stability of geomembrane tubes and retaining structure are satisfied at the same time, the water retaining system will play its own water retaining function under the satisfied conditions. Some key conclusions are obtained and summarized as follows:?1?In order to study the water retaining capacity, the calculation program of geomembrane tube, block body and water pressure interaction was compiled based on PFC2D.The datas obtained by this method was compared with other methods to verify the rationality of the method.?2?The relationship between the critical water level(Hcr/L)?the normalized block height?Lb/L??the normalized filling pressure?p0/?L?and the central angle of the L-shaped block is established.?3?The force between the L-shaped block and geomembrane tube is analyzed, the contact force between the two entities is equivalently transformed to continuous force.According to the force integral calculation, the anti-overturning moment Mr and the overturning moment Mt of the L-shaped block is obtained.?4?Analyze and calculate the influence of the central angle?the filling pressure?the lateral water leval?the height and width of the L-shaped block on the stability of the block and obtain the optium width and height ratio when the block is in a stable critical state under various combinations.?5?Analysis of Tensile Force of geomembrane tube Supported by L-shaped blocks.Study the effect of lateral water level and block height on tensile force.Design and calculation of the maximum tensile force for geomembrane tube materials.
